Hi I collected my car on Friday and it wasn’t ready on arrival as I had hoped. Knowing it would take me 5 hours to drive home I was concerned. However Charles provided cups of tea , company and encouragement at times and I remained calm Thank you because I can be very miserable ratty and provide a storm show when things don’t go to plan!!!

Really helpful when I showed an interest in buying a car from them delivered it with only 1 key instead of 2 not been valeted as promised phoned and spoke to someone knocked me a price of a valet of the price promised to send my second key out chased it up when it didn’t come they had put the wrong address on so I had to go round the neighbours looking for where it had been delivered they had opened it as they didn’t know who it belonged to luckily I found it would I use again doubtful

Very disappointed with Oakwood, I bought a car from the several years ago and they were great, so when I need another at the start of the year I didn’t look anywhere else. I went to Oakwood because I trusted them. I bought a car from Dale but there were scratches in the windscreen and a couple of other bits needed doing. Dale promised me he’d arrange for them to be done within a few weeks of me taking it. I even got it in writing from him. Sadly after I’d paid and drove off that was it. My calls, texts and emails ignored and every time I called the showroom someone always promised to ring me back and nobody ever has. I’ve called them every week since the start of February. So I’ve decided I don’t need the stress and will sort them myself even though they promised to, but be warned… once they have your money they are not interested!! I’ll never buy from there again.

I was shopping for a car and came across a Toyota Corolla 1.8 Petrol Hybrid. From the minute I showed interest Lee was there every step of the way. Not in a pushy sales way but supportive and even got me a better finance deal than I had originally been quoted. I had the car within 24 hours and it’s been great ever since. I’ll be going back there for my next car when the time comes!

What an incredible experience! I came across Oakwood Motors through a TikTok ad and, after struggling to get approved for finance elsewhere due to my poor credit history, I decided to give it one last try. I’d been turned down multiple times and was close to giving up, but then their advert popped up again on Facebook—and I thought, why not?
The application process was straightforward and hassle-free. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, just another rejection. But to my surprise, I got a call—not just an email or text, but an actual phone call from a real person at Oakwood’s recommended finance company. They asked me lots of questions, and I was upfront about my situation, including the fact that I’d recently retired—something that had been a deal-breaker with other companies. But not this time. They listened, and they approved me with a £7,000 budget to choose my car.
I already had my eye on a Mercedes C250 CDI Coupe AMG Line listed on Oakwood’s site. The photos showed it in need of some TLC, but Steve, the salesman, reassured me that it would be fully prepared before delivery—and he meant it. The car was in prep for several days, during which they carried out a ton of mechanical work, replaced multiple parts, refurbished all the wheels, took care of any scratches, and gave it a full detailed valet. The result? The car looked and drove like brand new when I picked it up on Good Friday. Not a single age-related blemish in sight—it was absolutely mint.
My handover with Lee was fantastic, and the communication throughout the entire process was smooth, friendly, and professional. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. Highly, highly recommended!
