I was very dissatisfied with the service at this dealership. I was clearly told that my car tax had been paid on Wednesday, 24 December, and I was assured the vehicle was taxed and safe to drive away. After leaving, I checked online and found the car was not taxed, which put me at risk of fines due to incorrect information provided by the dealership. I never received a proper explanation for this. Communication throughout was confusing, and I also left the dealership without the requested log book, despite being told everything was resolved. The only positive part of this experience was Diana, who contacted me, took responsibility, and corrected this issue.
I had the pleasure of buying from Oakwood, and I’ve got to say their customer service was brilliant from the minute I walked in the dealership, to the minute I drove away - literally 3 hours (I did leave on my own accord for a few hours) Olivia was fantastic and explained everything in layman’s terms. Olivia and the rest of the team way way way way above other dealerships in customer service. They actually care! Would highly recommend Olivia and the dealership if you’re looking for a new car. 5 stars.

I WAS TOLD THE CAR would be ready on Monday. I asked if It could be delivered. I was told it would be better if I came in person. I arranged with my nice to take myself and my husband an also my 93 year old brother this was so My nice had her dad to go back to Stoke-On-Trent with and my husband would be with me. I hadn't driven a manual for the past 20yrs but your salesman assured me that I would have more choice in a manual. The weather was appalling and I had to drive back not knowing the car. I just think that I would have had a better experience if the car had been delivered. I have a feeling it was so that I would be there to pay the registration , every other car I have bought has had at least 3 months left on it and a quarter of a tank of petrol. After all that I was very happy with the service over the phone prior to coming up to Bury. But really disappointed at the service at the garage... Linda James
Couldn’t recommend Oakwood, especially Amy enough! She took the time to find the car i wanted, made sure i was 100% happy with everything and explained everything clearly. We organised the pick up date and everything ran smoothly. I could not of asked for any better service from the start right the way to picking my car up today. I will 100% be returning as this dedicated polite service is not found often anymore. I will be telling everyone i know to come to Oakwood! Thank you again to everyone there. I bought a car from here and as soon as the cash was transferred and the car was delivered I didn't exist to them anymore. I was told there was two keys, I only had one, I was told the log book had been sent off, I still haven't received it 7 weeks later. And now I can't get my children's belongings from the car because I'm not the owner of it, after it was involved in a crash. Absolute joke that company, every phone call was ignored or I was told to call back tomorrow or Monday. Ever time I tried to reach Yasar he was never there or never rang me back. I'm absolutely devastated and will be taking this further! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! You don't matter to them, your money and their commission is more important to them!!
Great service on the whole , did have to keep chasing for updates , but I guess everyone’s busy . Overall a great experience

Recently bought a used car and they have been brilliant from start to finish . Especially steve and andy. Bought a car and there was a slight minor issue the sorted it straight away and i couldn't be happier with my csr. Highly recommend them .
DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE THEY WILL STOP ANSWERING YOUR CALLS, NEVER UPDATE YOU. LIE TO YOU JUST LIKE APPARENTLY STEVE SAID ABOUT JOE, SALEMENS LIED ABOUT CONTACTING THE FINANCE COMPANY TO SORT OUT THE SETTLEMENT FIGURE, I HAD TO ASK THE FINANCE COMPANY IF THE DEALERSHIP DID RING AND THEY CLAIMED THEY DIDN'T THEREFORE THEY ARE LIARS, THEY DON'T GET BACK TO YOU, CONSTANTLY CHASING THEM FOR 10 DAYS WITH 0 RESPONSE, ONLY SAYING WILL GET BACK TO YOU. WOULDNT RECOMMEND, THINK TWICE BUYING FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY.
