What a bunch of chuffing Wombles! Seriously, my cat could’ve done a better job. My advice, check everything they say or do as it’s probably untrue. Your new electric car is fully charged. No, it wasn’t. I just taxed your car online, it’s good to go. No, he didn’t. Left me driving 50 miles home in an electric car with barely any charge, no tax and because it wasn’t taxed, no breakdown cover or insurance. Complain? They aren’t registered with The Motor Ombudsman. No surprise there. My only choice as they’re too busy wombling to answer my emails is the Small Claims Court which I am currently doing. Go somewhere else to buy a car if you’ve got any sense, save yourself a lot of mither and money.

Initially, everything seemed great and friendly, which led me to place a £100 deposit on a vehicle (BMW i3). However, as days passed, I became increasingly concerned when Oakwood Motor Company ignored what I’d consider simple but important questions. I asked about key details, such as: The length and coverage of their warranty Whether the outstanding finance (found through an HPI check) would be cleared Whether any items were missing from the car The mileage discrepancy between their advertisement and the MOT These questions went unanswered, which significantly eroded my confidence in the purchase. As a result, I decided not to proceed with buying the car—no hard feelings, or so I thought. However, what happened to my deposit? Ten days passed with no refund or response. I then sent a formal email requesting a reply within seven days and confirmation of my refund—a perfectly reasonable request. Yet, I still received no response. At this point, I felt I had no choice but to leave this review. Bottom Line: The car was not as advertised, and Oakwood Motor Company has refused to respond to emails or return my deposit. I won’t tell people where to shop for their cars, but this was my experience. P.S. The car is still for sale, mileage discrepancy and all!

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Steve and Kerri were amazing went through everything which we needed to know and any problems it was dealt with efficiently. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
We love the 2 cars but were disappointed that phone calls are not returned and issues resolved in a timely way. Despite paying over £37000 cash, there wasn’t any petrol in either car! Apparently if we had taken finance out we would have been given full tanks each. I think that’s very poor customer service. The locking wheel nut has also been misplaced during the prep time and they can’t find it and haven’t returned 2 phone calls.
I’ve just brought my new car from oakwood the service was great the team really friendly would definitely buy from them again

Absolute amazing experience!! I was looking at buying my first car and had one in mind that I wanted. Looked at a couple of other places in the area but didn't have much that fitted what I wanted. Went on here and found options that looked great for me and were local enough for me to get to. I went to the dealership and was given the best experience by Dale. Walked me through everything and made me feel extremely comfortable with everything. I had to wait a couple of weeks to get the car as they wanted to get it serviced and checked before I took it away, which I really appreciated. Absolute pleasure to deal with everyone in the dealership but can't thank Dale enough for how he walked me through everything and was extremely open about everything. Would absolutely recommend Oakwood to anyone looking t buy a car!!
