Very poor, unprofessional and very disappointed, just picked up a car for my wife and paid the asking price, they had the commission on the finance and they could not put enough fuel in the car for her to get home. Money grabbing typical motor traders, take your money elsewhere as I wish I had. 30 quids worth of fuel was all it would take for me to be a happy customer.

I have recently purchased an A4 Audi from Oakwood Motor Company, it was a car I needed for my work. I was very pleased with the Audi I also took out a 3 year Warranty which cost me £800. After having the car for 3 weeks I was offered a new job with a company car, I contacted Oakwood Motors to see if they would buy it back off me, I had only done 500 miles in it. The Sales Manager understood my predicament and would see what could be done. He stated that he would contact me some time later that day, this never happened. I contacted him the following Monday to remind him had any development been made, he stated he would get back to me the following day, this also never happened. I had to go to Oakwood the week later to see them, the sales Manager Liam stated that it would be up to the owner, Christian to decide. I stated that even if I lost money selling it back to them, they could resell it to someone else. He stated that he would look into this and get back to me, this has never happened. I contact them on Thursday 8th Feb to see if there had been any update, I spoke to one of their sales team, when they asked me who I was and what was it about, he stated that both Liam and Christian was not available and could I ring back later. I have rung them back a number of times and they will not respond to my calls. I feel very let down on the after service of this company, they are first class at taking your money but when it comes to having a look at my predicament, all they have done is fobbed my off and not had the decency or courage to come back to me with a decision. I understand that it is their prerogative to make a decision but their lack of integrity really shows what type of used car dealers they are. All I wanted was honesty so I could make other arrangements to sell my car, instead I have been led a merry dance. I will never ever recommend anyone to buy a car from this lot.

Very pleased with the service from Oakwood, everyone was friendly and polite. We had a laugh which made the process faster and more enjoyable. Excellent!!!

If you want good customer service,avoid this garage, the customer care is zero! My husband reserved a car for us to pick up at 10 am on Saturday morning as a birthday present for my self. We arrived at 9.45 to pay & pick up the car, after a 50 mile trip. On arrival we were told that they had just sold it to another customer, which was still in progress! The customer service was terrible to say the least, we were just left stood there like dummies,the sales man did not offer any other alternatives or try to help us in anyway and progressed with the sale of they car to the other customer. On complaining to the manager on what had happened (who was very ignorant with a careless attitude) we were told,,i don't know what you want me to do about it! At the very least somebody could of helped us or offered us to look at alternative cars after being let down so badly but instead we were just left stood there! I have never come across such terrible service.

I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction unfortunately. We only reserve cars when a deposit has been left. This option was offered to your husband which he declined. Instead he left a contact number for us to call if we had any further interest in the Corsa. Jason the salesman on the day had tried to call your husband several times as promised if someone else came to purchase the car unfortunately he got no answer. Jason was left in awkward position, to sell the car to the customer in front of him that had travelled from Newcastle or wait to see if yourselves turn up unfortunately whichever decision he made there potentially was going to be an unhappy customer. We would have loved to show you an alternative but the car you came to see was a Special Edition Vauxhall Corsa and sadly was the only one we had in stock and no alternative was available. I trust you have since purchased an alternative car and hope we can be of help next time you change your vehicle. Team Oakwood.

When i went to pick the car up from Oakwood I had a hugely positive overall experience. Basically my car broke down just down the road from the dealership, now this is clearly not the fault of the dealership, it was mechanical. To me what was brilliant was they took it in for me, fixed it for the next day and couldnt apologise enough even though they werent at fault. This really impressed me and showed they arent looking for a quick sale and send you on the way. I suppose you learn more in adversity then in something straight forwards!!!...nightmare. They took it back, fixed it. Really happy with the car since, its been 6 weeks now and would recommend them to anyone who will have the confidence they will be looked after
