Absolute 10/10 experience with Parkside Motors. The car is absolutely perfect, I recently put on some Pirelli P Zeros, and wow, what a difference it has made! It's like a completely different car! The previous owner had put all the wrong tyres on the car, itl ooked like a cheese wedge, but it is in good hands now! I couldn't fault Gokhan he was brilliant.

Me and my partner wanted a bigger car to start our family and wanted to part exchange our current Mercedes CLA for an Audi Q3 . We travelled 3 hours to meet with Fedz who was very polite over the phone when we first spoke in arranging our initial appointment , when arrived after leaving London early hours to collect our new car Fedz had forgotten our appointment time and was not really professional through out the process, he called my partner ''babe'' and constantly whistled , also the paper work took over an hour to sort out which we had to wait around.. We was told our current part exchange would be settled within 48hrs with our finance partner Close Brothers however a week later and it has still not been settled i was told today it will take another 48hrs? very confusing and misleading also worrying from our end. When we drove our new vehicle away we was relieved and delighted to get away and start fresh with our new family car ( we thought ) when driving on the motorway we was getting flashed constantly by other drivers who advised we had no brake tail lights when coming to a stop! we were shocked and confused as the vehicle had undergone a service and MOT in november/december time, and was sold on the basis everything was fine, when we got back we called Fedz and said we was not happy he advised us to take to a reapair garage at our own cost but would be re-imbursed by him if cost was reasonable, when we obtained a quote for repairs we was told we would need new brake lights and fuse/switch which cost us over £223 we were devastated and had to pay this, we then sent the invoice to Parkland Motors to be re-imbursed and was told by Fedz it will take 48hrs until we would receive the money back, we still haven't received this despite calling them again this morning having to chase again.. Overall I would not use this dealer again because of the recent experience , the turnaround is very slow in every aspect and not very professional , i don't feel we was looked after properly and the service could of been much more better from Parkland motors and the vehicle checked again before driving away as our lives had been potentially in danger on the motorway back to London. This was also my partners first car in her name and this has really put her off using a dealer in the future.

The car was delivered in filthy condition so unable to check. On cleaning I found it was covered in dents and crash damage - They'd specifically told me it didn't have any dents. Very disappointed and now they refuse to entertain any repairs.

I had a really dispiriting experience with Parkside Motors, and in particular with the salesperson named Cameron. I purchased a MINI Countryman (2012) and as a precaution, took it in for an early MOT. The vehicle failed the MOT at the MINI Garage, the fog lights were corroded, and the vehicle was sold to me as unfit for purpose. I immediately contacted Cameron and his colleagues to try to put the situation right. The full cost of the lights was in excess of £500 and I offered to split this with Parkside Motors. Their response was to deny any responsibility, undermine the MINI garage, undermine me, and eventually, after involving a lawyer and making Cameron aware of the Consumer Rights Act (and after many emails where I was chasing Cameron for a response) they offered me a free MOT with their own mechanic and £125 as a goodwill gesture. I did not accept this as I don’t trust their mechanic who clearly missed the corroded lights in the first, and the goodwill gesture does not acknowledge their responsibility and role in selling me a vehicle not fit for purpose. The experience was very stressful, and I urge you to avoid buying a vehicle from these people or ensure a warranty that covers in the entire vehicle up to the MOT is included. AVOID PARKSIDE MOTORS. THEY SELL DEFECTIVE CARS AND THEIR WARRANTY IS BOGUS! I purchased a Land Rover Discovery recently from Parkside as we had our fourth child and require a larger vehicle. After a few weeks a red warning light appeared on the dash. When I got a mechanic to check the vehicle, they revealed that the manifold was stuck together with tissue and glue. I was absolutely appalled! Parkside refused to cover the costs of the repair stating that their 3 month warranty only applied to the engine and gear box. To add insult to injury I was told by a Parkside representative that if " I pulled on every ones heart strings I'd be out of business!" I found these remarks very offensive. I've had to cover the significant cost of the repairs myself. I feel very betrayed and deceived. I would strongly urge everyone to look else were.
