I bought a car from Hanar 2 months ago (June 2020) and it is a very good car, nearly new, but I am not happy with the sales aftercare. The missing special locking wheel nut key for the car and the missing jack caused me a great deal of inconvenience when I had a puncture and I had to call out the AA. I expected this to be with the car when I bought it, so I didn't check. When I contacted Hanar about the missing locking wheel key nut key it was initially suggested by them that I should come to them to get the ‘problem sorted’. I refused to do so since it would have meant driving some distance on a spare tyre which it is not designed for that. Hanar offered instead to send someone round to me to ‘sort out the issue’. On pushing for an explanation on how the problem would be sorted it was suggested: • Knocking off the safety wheel nut altogether • Purchasing the wheel nut locking key from a local car accessory shop I was very concerned about this solution and contacted the local Toyota dealership myself for expert advice. Toyota told me that only they, the dealership, have the correct locking wheel nut key for this model, at a cost of £30.00. It cannot be purchased from anywhere else, since it is unique and it could take up to 5 weeks to get, because it comes from Germany. So we agreed, since the car was booked for its first service that week, Toyota dealership would change the tyre for a new one using their master key, without damaging the safety wheel nut. I also take exception to Hanars’ comment that “we are not the AA”, and that no apology was made for the inconvenience caused. Knocking off the security wheel nut would not have solved the problem, what I needed was the key itself and I had made that very clear right from the beginning. PS: Hanar have since reimbursed me for the cost of the locking wheel nut key and the jack.

I would like to say how buying a car from these guys is a fantastic experience. They filmed the car online for me as we live in Devon. After purchase they delivered our car to our address with no fuss at all. The video they sent filmed all the bad points as well as the good. The staff were helpful from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble for them. You can buy with confidence from this dealership.

my girlfriend brought a car from hanar cars and throughout the whole time the transaction from viewing, buying and picking up the car was very comfortable and easy, i cant thank them enough especially issy thankyou for all your help, im sureill be back to buy myself a new car, would high recommend using HANAR CARS

A bought a Volkswagen Golf from Hanar Cars in Feb 20 and within less than 2 weeks, the car was un-driveable as a local mechanic advised me it was unsafe to be on the roads. When I originally went to Hanar Cars, I had lots of questions about the vehicle and was repeatedly told that there was nothing to worry about because it was in excellent condition. They either lied or were ignorant regarding the state of the car, neither of which is a good enough excuse. The after sales experience was terrible and the whole experience has cost me hundreds of pounds. Avoid this dealer!

I bought a lexus car in Sep 2019. When I bought the car, the annual servicing was overdue. After 2 months, I serviced my car, from lexus service centre. They mentioned, there was heat damage in headlight and the car is in fire risk. I had to pay £576 for replace headlight and £505 for servicing. I contacted Hanar Car and initially they refused their responsibility. I asked them, as dealer this is their responsibility to sell car in safe condidition, where I drove 2 monts with this fire risk, since buy from Hanar Cars and until servicing. However, after several arguments, They reimbursed only less than half of head lamp unit cost. The purpose to share this experience to suggest buyers, please check servicing is upto date. I did not find their service satisfactory.

Purchased A Mercedes CLS in 2018 and the car came with a few problems. After countless chasers and leaving the car to be repaired, the problems still remain. I was not provided with any proof of work done on the car either. I was told by Zirwan to take the car to any garage a day after the warranty had run out as it was not his problem anymore. If you are buying a car you must ensure the car is in good health, the after sales service is by far the worst. They are quick to take your money but terrible at rectifying any issues. Please be aware of Hanar Cars.

APPROACH HANAR CARS WITH CAUTION: Recently purchased a VW from Hanar Cars. I had an incident when I collected my car and accidentally scuffed one of the front tyres. I called the dealership and they were super helpful, told me to come back to the shop and looked at the tyre. The problem started when I was directed to a tyre shop up the road and asked if I wanted a new tyre or a second hand one. Not knowing SQUAT about cars, the price of £25 for a second hand tyre was alluring and decided to go with this option. Got home and the low pressure light came . I took it into a reputable tyre garage for them to check it out. The minute the mecanic looked at it, he said that the the thing was not only a WINTER TYRE , but that it was completely wasted and would probably have lasted about another day. MORE IMPORTANTLY: When they opened the boot to get the spare out, all they found was a rusty, old, flat tyre that wasn't even the right size for my car!!! ERM: why was the spare tyre in the back not adequate?! The mechanics then encouraged me to call Hanar Cars to ask them to give me a decent spare tyre. The gentleman got immediately defensive, demanded to talk to the people in the garage and yelled abuse at them. Tyres are now sorted, no thanks to Hanar Cars. FURTHERMORE - when I purchased the car it was stated IN THE RECEIPT that I would get a new parcel shelf. There is no parcel shelf in my car. These guys clearly saw a young girl, excited to be purchasing her first car and totally took advantage of the situation. Would NOT recommend.

I bought my Discovery 4 HSE from Hanar Cars about 2 months ago and what a fantastic service I received. I had a small problem with the car 3 weeks later, called them and was sorted straight away. Would defo buy again from Hanar Cars. 10/10.

I purchased a car (bmw 5 series) from hanar cars and about almost a year later i had a problem with the Ac. i took it to the mechanic i was told told my AC radiator needed replacing and was quoted between £300- £400. I called hanar cars and they were very helpful. they advised me to take the car to their recommended mechanic and they took care of the cost. I am very pleased with the service and professionalism of the staff at hanar cars and as a matter of fact I am going back some time this week to purchase another car Derrick.
