The car’s been great! The only thing I found frustrating was trying to get hold of them after I realised I’d left my dash cam in my old car. You call a central sales team first, and then they try to put you through to the right branch but it just seems to take forever. I’m not convinced the calls actually transfer properly either, because the guys didn’t know I’d tried calling. Honestly, I’d just drive over next time. The team at Grantham were all lovely though, and they were absolutely great when I was actually buying the car — the only bad part was the call transferring! I don’t want to mark them down because it wouldn’t be fair on the guys who did a brilliant job. My little girl came with me too and they were really accommodating and made us both feel welcome which was really lovely.

I bought my BMW 1 Series from J17 in Grantham last month. Don’t get me wrong the car’s more of a weekend toy for me as I drive a van all week, but I’m in my early 20s and I’ve treated myself to an M140i so I’m pretty chuffed with myself to be honest. The only gripe I had was that when I picked it up, it had literally one mile of fuel left in the tank which was a bit annoying — especially since I traded my p/x in with a full tank! Should’ve drained it and poured it into the new one haha! To be totally fair though, I only went to look at the car on a Sunday for something to do as I had an Opel VXR German import at the time. I didn’t even intend on buying anything as was more just keeping myself occupied, but they turned it around in two days which was pretty quick and I’m loving it.

The experience has been good, everything went as it should on the day. The fella who handled the sale was a really nice bloke, very professional, and made the whole process a good one. A warning light has just popped up on the car, but I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about, but ill leave Junction 17 know. Other than that, everything is running well.

The car took us to Junction 17, and although they were quite busy on the day, which made things take a little longer than expected, they had a great variety of cars in stock. The test drive went well, and the car itself has been excellent with no problems to report. If I saw another car there in the future, I’d be happy to buy from them again.

If I’m being completely honest there were a couple of issues with the vehicle initially, but to be fair, Junction 17 has been on the ball in getting them resolved. I travelled quite a distance to collect the car so it was a little disappointing it hadn’t been valeted to the standard I expected, and the wing mirrors didn’t appear to match the ST model. That said ...I’ve submitted my invoice to the dealership and they’ve agreed to reimburse the costs to get this sorted. Other than that the vehicle itself's been absolutely fine so I can’t complain too much.
