Myself and my partner have recently tried to buy 2 cars on separate occasions over the past few weeks. The first car that we wanted to reserve they wouldn’t allow us to as we couldn’t collect on a day that suited them due to the covid restrictions, we then offered to pay for the car in full without even seeing it but again because we couldn’t work around them due to work commitments it was a no deal and got a very sarcastic comment from the sales consultant of ‘well you best hope it hasn’t sold when you try again’ A week later we then saw another car and spoke to a gentleman called Sam on the Wednesday evening, he confirmed our deposit had gone through and that the car was reserved for us and nobody else and a collection appointment was made for Saturday- We had all the confirmation, reservation number/ collecting, and deposit confirmation emails. Saturday comes round, (the day of the collection appointment) we arrive for our appointment and have to wait over an hour to be seen for them to then frantically search for the car- turns out they had sold it on the Friday to someone else. The branch manager Ben Goodwin was called over and tried to say it wasn’t their fault and it was a bit of give and take as we asked for them to find something pretty much the same as we are now without a car after selling our own. Let alone having already paid insurance on the car we were supposed to be collecting and having to somehow now figure out what we are going to do about getting to work as we both rely on our cars. We then had to tell them that they owed us our money back as guarantee if we didn’t say anything they would have kept it. All in all utterly useless and uncaring.

Very disappointed!!! We reserved a car a week before and advised we would be required to take the car that same day due to the long journey we was doing for this particular car. We travelled a round trip in excess of 300 miles and the car we reserved was full of marks and scratches. The car was also dirty on the inside. No prep had been carried out and first impressions count. We would not use this company again as the sales man did not seem bothered at all. Customer service was non existent. Luckily on our car journey home we stopped at another dealer and we bought a car so at least our day was not wasted and the lady we dealt with was amazing. Least we found a car we wanted and had the customer service we expected where she went above and beyond.
I bought a car from Bigmotoringworld West Malling on the basis it has all the original kit and full service history. They don't provide the kit and service history straight away, it flashes up on a screen you don't get time check its the correct vehicle. By the time you've signed the dotted line it's to late. They send you to a site in Snodland to collect the missing kit only to find out half of it is not present. So the car is sold under false pretences. When it comes to selling on the car you cannot supply all the original kit and documentation unless you try to pull a fast one looks me this company does, something they seem to have raised to an art form. Do yourself a favour do not buy from this company whose business model is based on the big lie.

As soon as you buy a car you mean nothing to Big Motoring World. If anything goes wrong it is fully down to you unless you buy their outrageous warranty and something on the very small list goes wrong with you car. Factory car selling. Go somewhere else where you money is safe
