Big Motoring World do not care about after sales. Your warranty is not worth the paper it is written out. Report to trading standards and citizens advice - these guys are crooks.

Purchased a vehicle from Big Motoring World about a month ago. I also purchased a Warranty from them. The Warranty turns out to be with Warranty 2000. Vehicle was a surprise present for my Daughters 18th. First day that my Daughter drove it, the engine management light came on. Three local garages would not look at the car under the warantee. Was advised to go to Halfords where they have a National contract. Two visits to Halfords later, they diagnosed that it needed to go to a main dealer. Main dealer diagnosed that it needs a new catalytic convertor. Cost £1250. Car has been in garage for a week while they negotiate with Big Motoring World about who - if either - of them will authorise the work to be done. What do Big Motoring World have to say about this? Don't know. Still waiting for them to get back to me! Conslusion: £7500 out of pocket. Owned the car for a month. Been able to Drive the car three times. All of them to a garage! Car been at Main dealers for a full week. No answer yet about whether its going to be fixed.

I found the process at the Big Motoring World in West Malling to be slick, quick and easy after travelling 3 hours to view a Ford Focus we purchased well priced and all staff were friendly would use again

Bought two cars from Big Motoring World in 5 years. First one I thought was a dud, so benefit of doubt bought another a few months back. WELL this one has just had a serious diesel leak. Nearly causing an accident. Believe it or not the same as the first car I had from these!!! But that's okay, took out 3 years extended warranty with them to cover "ALL" repairs. "WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY DON'T BOTHER", car is in a garage (BMW MAIN DEALER). They called me today, fuel line ruptured (BMW MAIN DEALER WORDS "Unusual for age and mileage of vehicle"). They contacted warranty company, the BMW repair bill is £450 including investigation, parts and repair. WARRANTY COMPANY Response.. 1) We dont pay diagnostic. 2) We will replace the part broken (but from another source) which BMW will not fit as they have to guarantee the work. So warranty company will only pay amount they can get the part for NOT what it cost. 3) They will NOT pay for the other parts damaged by the broken part as they only pay out for the broken part. 4) They will ONLY Pay max £75 labour (which I knew and didnt have a problem with) but as I have a £75 excess they WONT pay for the labor. SO. £450 damage. Warranty only covers £100.. So for the £1500 I payed for extended warranty was a complete waste of money. Before BIGMOTORING world comment (if they bother). I would have taken the car to you but your service center were to call me back to see if they could fit it in and after 7 hours of my car spilling diesel over my drive it was taken by recovery to the BMW as I still had not heard from you. If you like being lied to and fleeced by salesmen in cheap suits, Big Motoring World in West Malling is the place for you. Bought a car on the understanding the faults were being remedied whilst we spoke. First lie. The whole set up is cleverly arranged to milk you and get you off the premises asap... over to the support centre five miles away to collect your paperwork. They clearly dont want angry after sales people in the presence of new, naive potential purchasers,,, Bad, bad, bad...

Went to Big Motoring World on the A20 West Malling it was like a cattle market inside. We had seen a car online so went to look at it, once out in the huge forecourt the car I noticed had almost bald tyres so looked at the one next door it was scratched along the doors and the radio surround was very tarnished the salesman said there all like that with those Vauxhall Mokkas so we had a look at the fords one looked like the owner kept dogs and one had a nicotine stained interior then as we were about to give up we saw a Ford for £5600 with only 18,000 miles on the clock but it was wrongly priced and ended up at £8400 then the manager said he would do a discount and did all the insurance and protection and it came in at £10400 so nearly doubled its a scam and most cars there need £2000 worth of servicing so don't buy from here please You have been warned they are cheap because only the mininum is done to sell them!

Avoid! Don't buy any car from Big Motoring World West Malling. Very bad expierence. My loss over £2000. I bought Volkswagen Golf 2016. Next day I found front rear bumper,mirrors and front wing passenger side repainted. The colour of painted car body parts is darker and does not much the rest of the car.Big Motoring World refused a refund. Big Motoring World responded: Good Afternoon, Thank you for your email and the attached photographs. Unfortunately we would not look to offer a refund on the vehicle, all vehicles we sell are HPI clear and free from any insurance loss. All vehicles are thoroughly checked and are structurally safe for road use within the UK. Unless provided by the previous owner we would be unaware of any cosmetic work that may of been previously carried out the vehicle. I have attached the HPI for your reference. I would stay away from Big Motoring World in West Malling if I was You. After spending 13.000 pounds it is going to cost me 600.00 amongst other things to pay for a key that can't lock the car. Apparently I have not been thorough with their terms and conditions were it says that they only supply one key with their cars. Sham on You.

I recently bought a Mini from big motoring world all was fine and dandy until.... A day or so later my tyre pressure was low... took it back they sorted it out. But didn't even bother to put the cap back on my tyre. They decided to just leave it on the floor. Next thing, i noticed was the service light... what happened to the service they give all their cars when they enter the facility. They then gave me a car with next to no diesel (now i know thats nothing to do with them, and I'm not expecting a full tank but after trading my car that has a full tank of petrol, i just expected it to have enough to even get me to my house or a service station, but clearly they allow the car to run dry before refilling) Then we noticed a strange noise coming from the engine, turns out one of the clips holding down a vent was snapped off causing the odd noise. Finally... after just a day of having it. I noticed it kept slipping out of 1st gear, at first i thought it was me. In the fact I'm now learning to drive my new car... but nope. Straight on the phone to BMW and they have diagnosed the issue and will be paying for all the parts and fixing all my issues free of cost. ( however when it first went in to be investigated and diagnosed with the garage members, they forgot to put the air filter back in my car. Luckily i found it in my boot before i drove off and they kindly put it back in) However, i am greatful they give you the warranty. And they have been good so far with dealing with my issue, but tbh you just dont expect to buy a car with this many issues. And the short test route gives you no time to find flaws I was told i would hear from the garage in a few days, and its been a few weeks of constant chasing and me being afraid to drive.
