Bought yet another car from the boys at BHP. After spending weeks looking they had the best spec c63 for sale anywhere. I bought the car over the phone and it was delivered as promised in stunning near new condition.
We bought our quashqai+2 car at the end of August and was really pleased when we saw it apart from the boot button panel came off in our hands as we opened the boot when inspecting. They said don't worry that will be fixed when you pick it up. We went the following week to complete on the car and it looked like it had been fixed but as it was inside of the building without any lights on we couldn't see. So they told us the car came with a full years warranty And a years mot. Once we got home we noticed the back panel had been stuck on with silicone and was seeping out and it was all over the boot. We contacted them and they said they would look at it if we took the car to them. So the following week we took the car down and yes they did fix it. But we also noticed that the full years mot that they said we had on the car actually run out in 6 months so wasn't a full year at all. Less than a month later there was a awful noise coming from the front wheels of the car. We spoke to the garage and they originally wanted us to take our car to them to be fixed but they then changed their mind the day before we was due to go down the said we could take it to a garage more local to us and they would pay for it to fixed. We took it to a local garage that we trust and found out that one of the front wheel bearings had gone and had also the front brakes were damaged. We contacted BHP and they said they would pay for the wheel bearing to be fixed but wouldn't pay for the brakes as he didn't believe the brakes were gone. The garage we took it to are not a rip off garage and are family run and go by their reputation. So we have ended up out of pocket getting the brakes sorted. Then a month later the rear brakes went...there was a horrendous grinding noise. We spoke to Tom and he said there is no way the brakes would have gone and accused us of drive the car recklessly and with the handbrake on. Not sure how this would have been done with a 10, 6, and a 1 year old in the car and if he thinks we hAve money to just throw away then so be it. He then wanted to see the mot certificate to see if there was any advisories on it so we sent him a picture of it as there were none he said it seemed odd so looked up the previous mot certificate (which was only a month before they had it mot'd) and that had an advisory on it of rear back brakes wearing thin. (Seems to us that something dodgy has happened just to make the car look better than it was) tom of bhp admitted (through text) that an error somewhere has occurred. So he said he would only pay for he brake pads to be fixed not the discs. We took the car to the same garage as the month before and had the brakes sorted and yes Tom of bhp did pay us for the pads but we are out of pocket again as the discs were so worn they needed changing too. We didn't expect to buy a car and 2 months later be out of pocket having had to get the car fixed to make it road worthy.
I bought a Jaguar from this dealership in April and I have had nothing but issues with it. The sat nav was broken and after have the car checked at a jaguar garage they revealed 4000 worth of repairs that needed urgent attention. I no longer have this car. I would not recommend this dealer.

The Jaguar in question was a £1200 part exchange, we were not informed of any issues prior to this review being left. Had we been contacted we would have reached a resolution.
I bought a used car from BHP which was fully serviced with 12 MOT and only 2 previous owners, considering it was a 04 plate! I was very pleased with my purchase and the this dealership overall! The knowledgeable, friendly and thoroughly professional staff made all the difference! I've received their full attention whilst on site and tips and advice about the model of the vehicle I was looking for. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of buying a used car, especially if you are after a reliable high performance car!
We bought a Nissan Xtrail from BHP in February for £3000. Since then we have had to spend over £1000 repairing the car to make it safe to drive on the road. I understand that dealers don't go looking for problems with a car they want to sell, but some of the issues we have had they should have spotted. The car came with 12 month MOT, but our mechanic said that he didn't think it should have passed it's MOT. And there is a problem with the reverse brake lights that we still haven't fixed as I emailed BHP asking them to pay for this repair as our mechanic said they must have known about it. The have not responded to my email. Also, the warranty company, despite having agreed to pay us £300 for the work, are being extremely difficult and we have still not had any money from them (I wish I'd read their reviews online as they are terrible and the warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on!). It just makes me angry and disappointed to be ripped off for money that we couldn't really afford to spend in the first place, to then have to spend a further £1000.

UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: We bought a nissan xtrail from bournemouth high performance. In the first few months of having it we had a few problems (brake discs, brake pads, wheel bearing, drive flange). After getting them fixed ourselves, we had some issues with the warranty company paying out. Having contacted BHP and not heard back from them for a month I wrote the review below, after which they got in touch. Since then, Tom at BHP has helped us and the warranty company have paid out £350. Tom has also paid for a further repair needed (the reverse light switch) and gave us a little extra for our troubles.
Traveled a fair distance to look at a car described on their website and after a lengthy discussion on the phone I decided to make the trip. These guys have a great knowledge of high performance marques. The car was exactly as described and I got a very fair part exchange price for my car. I had the full attention of the staff as I booked in my viewing slot which was well worth doing. I would recommend BHP performance to anyone and hopefully will be dealing with them on my next car.
I bought from this dealer in December 2014. No problems, no hassle, stress free. Absolutely would go back again. I'm shocked by the "honest customer" stating they had issues. Honestly couldn't fault the service I received at Bournemouth High Performance.
Bought a great car with a years warranty. I went along to look at the car with my daughter and was worried that two women wasn't a good idea however the team at Bournemouth High Performance were brilliant and put us at our ease. Had to call Bournemouth High Performance on a Saturday as had problems starting car and was surprised that Tom came round in less than an hour and sorted it out (was a flat battery. I would thoroughly recommend this garage.
There was some confusion during the viewing of a vehicle. However the staff were very helpful and resolved the issue quickly and in a very professional manor

Please avoid this Dealership, Bournemouth High Performance (BHP). I bought a car and traded in my px and have no end of stress. The deal for the new car was with the electric seat repaired before I collected it and it came with a full 12 month warranty. This is what won me over buying from them. When I picked the car up they said the part for the seat hadn't arrived, but it would be there within a week, so just simply bring the car back. This was ok to me so I drove away, put my young family in the back and happy with my new car drove home. When I got home and went through the paperwork again I noticed the warranty policy wasn't in there so I emailed BHP right away. He was very apologetic and said he will get it in the post right away. I kept asking for him to simply email my policy number over the past month and ill do the chasing, but alas this never happened. A month later now and still no mended seat, and no Warranty Policy! I managed to get a company name out of the dealer and contacted them directly with the dealership details, myself and car reg. They had nothing on any part of it. So quite clear, I didn't have any warranty! I went back to BHP with this and they were surprised, apparently. But said they will get it sorted, and will be from the date I bought the car, not the month later they would actually set it up! Im fuming, they have really tried to mug me off, luckily im not the type of person to let happen to me so im pushing this further. I did notice other reviews on social media of people who had also been lied to by BHP and are much worse off than myself. So im pretty lucky I guess. Their justification for lying to me and stringing me on for a month. Was because I had a private plate on my px, I had to send the V5 back to the DVLA to get it on retention, changed, new V5 & mot sent back to me, and then id post all this down to the dealer. This process was actually faster than it could have been and they were asking for it a week after the deal. DVLA state it takes 10-14 days just to process, let alone the postal service to get it there, and then back to me, and then down to BHP!! So as of right now, a month since buying the car. I have no warranty, no mended seat, stressed out to the max, fed up and considering taking Bournemouth High Performance to Trading Standards. So please, just avoid BHP.
