Bridgend Group Killwinning sold a car with a slow puncture and supposedly serviced, service light comes on within a couple months. 5000miles in and car has now developed a misfire and heating doesn't work. When asked to fix it they tried to charge us as warranty doesn't cover the parts...warranty doesn't actually really cover anything to be honest once you read the small print. Complete lack of customer service and care. Service light coming on and slow puncture indicating to me they didn't actually service the car before selling it to us. From experience with them and other car sales companies I've used, they finish bottom of the list. Il never go back and won't be using them to fix this car.

Good customer service at Bridgend Group Kilwinning branch, but a lot of lemons in their stock that they will sell to any unsuspecting individual. Speaking from experience, bought a Volvo from them and I would say I have forked out an addition £2000 on top the vehicle that was probably half its selling price in worth. Fiailures: Cigarette lighter fuse blown Electric window problems Suspension Bushing failed Suspension spring sheared Rust spot on tailgate door. Rear shock absorber failed (both) Handbrake cable failed Wheel bearings failed Water seals are degraded leading to constant light bulb failures. Puncture, (on apparently a new set of tires under) Gear gaiter plastic ring broken These failures showed up after driving the car from 60kmi to 64kmi on the clock. You would expect repairs on a used car yes, but at 60kmi that's a list of repairs on a car with 90kmi on the clock arguably as Volvo's are usually mechanically sound. [UPDATE 10/09/2018] - CLUTCH FAILED!! (BEARING IN MIND YOU CAN'T CHANGE GEAR WHEN THIS HAPPENS) I'M JUST GLAD NOTHING SERIOUS LIKE A POWER STEERING FAILURE OR SOMETHING ELSE FAILED WHILST DRIVING AT SPEED ROUND A BEND!! I WOULD NOT LIKE TO HAVE BLOOD ON MY HAND AS A RESULT OF THESE SNAKES.

This is the second car we have bought from Bridgend. Would highly recommend bridgend. Service we received was excellent. Standard we received both cars in was very high considering they were used cars. Will return to Bridgend for any future cars we may purchase.

Bought a Corsa from Bridgend Group Kilwinning, did the research beforehand so we knew what we wanted before we went in, but still had a choice of cars to look at, the sales guy was really good, spent a bit of time with us, talking through the different options and we are really happy with the one we bought, we did have a couple of niggles but the girls on the service desk pulled out all the stops to get things sorted quickly without any fuss, just the way it should be.

Had an Idea of the kind of thing I was looking for, but was not sure on exact make/model. Spent a couple of hours here looking round and test driving different things before settling on a Nissan Qashqai. Salesman could not have been more helpful, answered all my questions and didn't seem to mind at all that I spent so much time deciding. Got a fair price for my trade in and picked up my new car less than week after I first visited. Very happy, would recommend Bridgend Killwinning.

Bought a ford Kuga from Bridgend Group Kilwinning and its been a nightmare since I bought from them. I told them before I bought was a knocking grinding sound when slowing down. they told me was safe and fine. I was 7 1/2 months pregnant at the time. Told me was dust cause car had been sitting. Brakes were cold. Took it back a month later alternator was buggered car wouldn't start!! now 8 months pregnant again mentioned knocking noise and grinding. Nope nothing wrong with it. Fixed alternator got car home went into labour car had puncture when I went into labour. Hey could have been me so paid for a tyre at local garage. So a month or two later my son goes to open car door it wouldn't open!! As I stated so far away from kilwinning I decided I'd want to fee service and mot as was due a couple of months later. Took it back to get service and mot done. Again mentioned how knocking and grinding getting louder!! Your coil springs are broken Yeah that will be the grinding and knocking noise I've reported!! They said that will be due to condition of roads will be £189. Not covered under warranty Now the Kuga has only done 5000 miles it doesn't go off road and has had issue since I bought car which was reported several times then they advise door Investigation fee is £50. I asked was that under warranty they were not sure!! Then told me price was £390. My reply was I'd rather set it on fire!!! They advised I'd be charged for springs. Eventually they advised would cover door. But not springs. The would order parts Thursday. Would not give me a courtesy car cause I never gave a months notice but my car would definitely be ready latest Monday. Now Tuesday I've called part still not arrived. Seriously unhappy!! Useless unless they are selling u the car then they ain't interested.

Was sold a car that had clearly not been checked properly. Have had multiple issue since I got it under a year ago. Bridgend have grudged fixing it under warranty. Will never use again and I advise u to not use them either!

Bought a car from here and the salesman Graeme was great, explained everything to me and answered any questions I had. I had a small issue after a few weeks and called the service department who were very helpful and got the problem sorted for me straight away. Fantastic service and would not hesitate to recommend! Thanks again!
