Bought my car one year ago they gave me a years MOT, this week they put it through a free MOT and service, well then!! Excessive corrosion underneath and £1200 to fix!! Not a mention to me when purchasing this heap even when i told them i have three children and needed a safe family car. There is no way it should need all this after just one year. Contacted them to say i was unhappy to be told its just wear and tear! What? in one year? i dont think so!!. They are of no help they sold me a car with a Dodgy MOT and now im going to be out of pocket by £1200, I await a call from another garage giving me a second opinion...BRIDGEND KILWINNING NEVER AGAIN.

I took my car in for a repair to the heat blowers after doing some research I advised them it was probably the resistor that required changed as is a known common fault with my make of car after them investigating they agreed it was the resistor. I then received a call to say my sump needed changed as it was corroded and leaking even though I never have seen any evidence of oil in my driveway so I said OK go ahead with repair to then receive another call to say my radiator was leaking and also need replaced so what started of as just a resistor replacement has now turned into a £460 bill not a happy customer in future I will be getting a second opinion on any garage repair but it will not be with bridgend feel totally ripped off by the Bridgend Group branch in Kilwinning.

I bought a Vauxhall Astra 1.4 2012 reg 1 previous owner . Had car 4 months saw rust like bubbles appearing . I called garage they told me it would be repaired by Vauxhall as car had 6 year rust warranty only to take the car to Vauxhall to be told the door had been repaired previously with a door skin which invalided Vauxhall warranty and advice me to go back to garage . The manager Alan washed his hands with my situation and I paid £144 for an independent report which showed £1,500 with of damage Astra had had a full pass get side repair . Bridgend then had a cheek to offer me a competitive price to attend required which I found very offensive as I had paid £7,000 for an Astra with £1,500 worth of damage .

WARNING...my son purchased an Audi A3 from bridgend group start November 2015 on 2008 reg , car was reputed to be 2 owners and everything seemed fine at this point , I stupidly thought that bridgend was a reputed long established dealer whom could be trusted...WRONG. After son owning car which he purchased for £8000 his circumstances changed and decided that car had to be sold , we advertised car as private seller and had various interest with people coming to see doing an hpi and then never hearing anything back until one prospective buyer asked why am I going to be the 5th owner and why is it showing a red caution on hpi as imported !!! I was alarmed and paid for an hpi to see vehicle history myself bearing in mind this car was bought from bridgend and was reputed by them to be 2 owners, car was registered in Ireland then bought by bridgend who registered themselves as keepers to change reg number to make it look like uk car....none of this information was disclosed at any time , I immediately phoned bridgend ayr and spoke to stewart the salesman who sold car to son ,his response was ,I had no idea about car coming from Ireland ! and admitted car was sold as 2 owners but at this point was actually 3 owners , he said bridgend group would purchase car back but offered a max £4200 and that's them doing my son a FAVOUR, so 3 months later car lost value of nearly £4000 . My son and I feel completely ripped off and were amazed by the fact that not only did bridgend do nothing to remedy situation of being MISOLD a car with false history but they also refused to answer any of my questions.
