Brought my daughter her first car from cars of charminster . A mini which they had just put through MOT ! After a month terrible noise so took to local garage had new discs and pads all round and a shock installed £728 they said that wouldn’t of passed MOT 💯

Aftercare is non existant, my dad bought a car with a new mot and has a knocking on the front suspension wanted the car for two days leaving a pensioner without a car that he relies on to keep his independence , happy to take peoples money but that’s as far as it goes - will make sure no one we know every deals with this dealer - avoid

Bought a car from these a year ago for £2400 They told me there was nothing wrong with it Turns out the engine had a major fault airbags has been popped through vandalism Bumper was held on by zip ties when we got under the car Never ever buy a car from these cowboys

Do not buy a car from this garage !! My daughter naively purchased a car from them last month, The door mirrors were not working , but they said not to worry as they would get a new door panel and fix the mirrors. Well new door panel was changed but still the mirrors were not working. They said they don't fix electrical problems, worried that there would be other problems we asked for a full refund on the car as she had only had in 10 days, they refused this and said see you in court!! Absolutely awful customer service , only interested in selling cars, no after care whatsoever..just please avoid this garage at all costs!! The do not understand the law where you have a right to return a purchase if you are not completely satisfied, this car is not fit for purpose as the mirrors face inwards...utterly useless. They did say if WE buy new mirrors they would fix them...no thank you, we absolutely have no faith in you, we will get a proper garage to sort this out !!

They advertised a Ford Ka as a cat N vehicle. I put a £200 deposit on the car after viewing it. Thankfully, we decided to do an HPI check as the car was actually a Cat S! I rang them up and have got my deposit back as they claimed the insurance company have since changed it (bollocks), however, it is still advertised on multiple websites as a Cat N but they have added £100 to the price!!!! Clearly have edited the advert to up the price and not to change it to a Cat S!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought a Astra back in Dec 2020, paid £1325 for it ... good price but little did I know that 2 months down the line the head gasket is going. Will be getting in touch with garage, avoid with a barge pole.

Bought a car just less than 3 months ago and front bulb went. Took it be replaced at Halfords to be told that I had faulty electrics and there was nothing wrong with the bulb. Since buying the car I had noticed little issues with electrics but was nothing I couldn’t cope with. I rang the garage and told them of my issues and they offered to get an auto electrician to look at it for £40. I know it’s only £40 but it was the principle of it so I googled citizens advice who confirm under the consumer act 2015 they are liable to fix the fault. I told this to James on the phone. I took my car in Monday ready for autoelectrian. On Wednesday when I rang I was told he did not turn up monday or Tuesday but we’re crossing their fingers for that day. I called on Thursday to say it was done. When I arrived I was greeted with an arrogant James who drove the car round for me to inspect and it was all fine. Then it came to the £40. I explained I didn’t feel I should pay due to the length of time I had it and stated the consumer rights act.. James clearly didn’t understand and kept shouting about it being out of warranty when I clearly said the consumer act is nothing to do with the warranty. Then a man who I can only assume is the owner blustered over and started shouting at us. I explained the situation and all I got back was I don’t care and you won’t get your car back till you have paid. He was the rudest person I have ever met and did not care about anything even when legally I was right. Appalling aftercare service and I feel sorry for his employees working with a man with such attitudes. I really couldn’t believe the way he spoke to us. Honestly do not buy from these people as they don’t care. I wish I could put zero stars.

After buying a car from cars of charminster and driving 5 miles down the road i noticed a horrible noise where the engine cover Had dropped,After i got home everything was fine. I also have a media error when i plug my phone into the usb. I picked this car up and it had 0 miles of fuel in the tank which is awful. I was driving to paington one day and up a hill doing 40mph my car also cut out which caused hazard lights to be on a dangerous road which is normally a 60mph road. After this i had a oil light come on which resulted in me doing the oil. I went to the garage on the 24th january and i explained that when i tried to start my car up it would act as if it was stalling,After this they said should be fine we can't find any faults if it persists then come back. Saturday morning came and at 4am i left my house,Got 10 miles down the road and my car lost power with the engine managment light on,I pulled over restarted the car and it started to run fine again. I done around 30 miles and my car lost power again this time on a motorway which required me to pull into the hard shoulder then the car started again. Around 5 miles down the road my car also then lost power here which required the AA and i incurred a fee of £99 from them fow towing which is absolutely disgusting that i should have to pay this when i told the garage beforehand there's a problem. At the garage and they explain it's fuel filter (However it's not the case at all because the fuel filter has a seperate icon on the dashboard,They also didn't clear the code) They change the fuel filter and it's doing the exact same thing it was doing before,Cutting out,Stalling on start up. After this i'd drive home,Warned them of the fault and they said 'No worries we'll have it back and we'll order the part'. This was monday the 27th. It's now the 30th and i got to there garage on the 29th because they had found me a 'loan' car. This loan car is revving high,Flaring between gear changes,Engine is ticking and is super loud. The cruise control of the car also won't work which means something is wrong somewhere,Again no power. I demanded they done something about it or my car on the 29th however i was told 'The part for my car is ordered and it could be with them by friday'. Now i've been messed around by this garage enough,Buy a car and it breaks within 5 days,Get a loan car that's barely working. I've offered to find a mechanic which knows what they are doing and they could have my car fixed within a day maybe two,However they're adament they can't pay another mechanic. I'm now also without a 'driveable' car as the corsa sounds like it's going to break at any minute but they're still persistent on me driving this. I work 45 minutes away from home doing nights so i need a car. The way i have been treated is absolutely outrageous and i'm not happy. I went 3ish weeks without my car in total,Followed by 2 courtesy cars that where broken somehow and should of not been able to drive and a courtesy car they demanded me to have. They gave me my car back in the end and said i had earthing problem under the battery and that i had 'weak' glow plugs,Baring in mind i picked this car up at 18,000 miles. The amount of miles that where put on my car just by these guys driving it around and to LONDON.... What professional garage takes a car that they're mean't to be fixing to london..? They refused to change the glow plugs,I since have called and i have not been able to get answer. Stay well away from this garage,Will be trying to take this higher.👌
