Paid a £1000 refundable deposit to Cars2 Hyundai in Wakefield. Excuses and a months wait still not returned. I will not deal with them again.
Recently purchased a car for our daughters 18th from Cars2 Hyundai in Wakefield. We were so impressed with Joe who went above and beyond his job to make sure the car was perfect and a total surprise

We recently got a new blue Ioniq hybrid at the Cars2 Hyundai Wakefied branch. Thank you to Mohammed Asif, Georgia and the rest of the team, they were all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We would definitely recommend them .
Quoted through Carwow for new IONIQ Hybrid in electric blue. Provisionally agreed a price through email exchange. Took a test drive Sat morning and agreed the price to include part-ex. Compromise 1 - can't get blue car - choose from white, grey, black or silver. (advised Grey or silver would be acceptable). Compromise 2 - not a new car but a pre registered car. Ok we sign up and salesman advises he will call Monday with colour. No call - I called him Tuesday but not able to confirm - agreed he would ring back on Friday. Again no call so rang him - again a load of excuses why car couldn't be confirmed (what a main Hyundai dealer can't confirm - nonsense) - 'when I know you'll know OK!' was the retort. So delivery date had been agreed 3 weeks (Saturday) after contract signed. Rang the Thursday before but was told guy dealing (like no one else can - not even the so called manager) on day off and would try to get sales manager to call. No call. Rang Friday and spoke to salesman who told me they couldn't get a car (as Hyundai had changed the spec slightly - which by the way only happens a few weeks later) and had left a message a few days before (absolute rubbish - they had 2 mobile numbers and no message was sent) - so had I not rung I would have travelled from York for nothing. Stupid me left a £3,000 deposit (but after a few calls from me got it back) - A few days later I had a call (voicemail) from the Bradford branch telling me they could get a car but the terms would have to be re-negotiated. Obviously I didn't respond - one sorry episode with this company is enough. Cars 2 - you need to get your act together - as many other reviewers have said. Stop making promises you can't keep, treat customers with respect. Readers - beware not to make hefty deposits when ordering a car. I got one since and left £100 deposit - everything went through swimmingly. This is accurate as I made notes on all exchanges with this dealer.
Cars2 Hyunndai in Wakefield try to very aggressively push you to buy on the same day and will take advantage if you don't understand the terms and consequences of the deal. They don't seem to care about their reputation at all as they would refuse to resolve any complaints amicably and will hold you to ransom over the deposit. Please don't trust them. If you have to buy from them please take time to read the terms very carefully, don't buy on the same day. Otherwise you may get tricked into the deal you don't want and if you withdraw they will forfeit your deposit.
Avoid Cars 2 in Wakefield !! Do not buy any vehicle from them , they lie, twist information to their own benefit then claim there’s been relationship breakdown ... go to a garage that gives a shit ! No zero rating as this is what they deserve
My Hyundai i30 Premium was supplied without SatNav (missing SD card), floor mats and boot liner (promised by the sales manager), and 3½ weeks after collecting the car I still have no V5C (log book). Consequently I have been unable to assign my select registration to the car, and without the V5C I don't even know if i actually own it! In the 3½ weeks since collecting my new car I have made 3 phone calls to try to get the issues resolved, leaving messages for the sales rep and sales manager. None of my calls have been returned, and I have now written to the MD and still await a reply to my letter. Contrary to claims on the Cars2 website, the service received by me has been very poor, promises have not been fulfilled and they have made little or no effort to give me a positive stress free experience. Having bought my last four new cars from this dealership I will not be returning!

I am happy to report that the Cars 2 Operations Director, Neil Crossley, has taken the time to meet with me to discuss the various problems that I have experienced throughout the process of purchasing my new car. Mr Crossley has now satisfactorily resolved all of the issues and offered further recompense for the problems I have encountered. He was also happy to take on board a number of learning opportunities, and has undertaken to review and improve the internal procedures to minimise the chances of similar problems arising in future. including keeping an eye on company review sites (such as Car Dealer Reviews). This will enable his staff to be more proactive in identifying and resolving issues for customers. Thank you Mr Crossley for taking the time to get involved with my complaint, and for the quick resolution of the various issues.
Me and my partner picked up a car last month. The gentleman who dealt with us was named Joesph, lovely to speak with gave us a good deal. Hope to deal with him again in the future he was fantastic
