I have never felt so ripped off after buy a 60 plate Saab 9-3 for £7,500 from Cartime, Bury. From day one I had issues - I should have took that as a warning, but I thought, the car is just over 3 years old - how bad could it be? I've had a quote to fix the issues - thermostat housing in the cooling system and a buckled alloy £1,200. I've already had to spend £600 on the car... It appears that Cartime did a botch job to sell the car that should not have passed an MOT - which raises more questions. It also had a smashed fog light, they painted leather seats to hide marks, the key-fob looked chewed and the electric mirrors didn't work. During the warranty period I called over 20 times on one particular day to be passed from pillar to post then the call was 'hung-up'. Don't let them ask you to pay for hire car insurance either - I did the first time, then my insurer told me otherwise - they should have their own insurance!! All I want is for my car to be fit for purpose, you know, generl day to day use. If I exceed 3,00 rpm or 20 miles, I have to top up the cooling system! I'm still trying to get a refund or a repair paid for - now they don't want to know. Please do not use Cartime - I'm sure some people have had a good experience, but the experience I have had, it's been the worst I have EVER had to deal with.
