My initial experience with CarTime was very good. The salesman was very helpful and the selection of cars was good, and agreeing to buy a car went smoothly. When I went to collect the car we were left waiting for about 30-40 minutes. Despite there being many sales staff around, we had to wait for the salesmen whom we had seen previously. From an overheard comment I felt that, because I wasn't taking out a finance or servicing package, we weren't a priority. When I got home I realised there was no service history with the car except the sheet from CarTime's service department. I phoned several times and left messages, but the salesman never returned my call. When I received an email inviting me to write online reviews, I replied asking for information about the service history. They suggested that the history might be online with Seat, whom I approached and have been told they have no record of it being serviced. CarTime now tell me they have no record of the service history when they bought the car. Overall, I am very happy with the car, but felt the service from CarTime when I went to collect the car, and subsequently, have left a lot to be desired.

Went to Cartime in bury looking for a new car met mike the sales man who was very helpful.Told him what sort of cars we were looking for and he sorted us out with a Mercedes Benz A200 on a 15 plate.Just wanted to say how easy and helpful they made the whole experience.
From start to finish I felt welcome at cartime bury. Some places are small and you don’t even get a brew but they make sure you feel at home thank you to Andy Pete and Fiona brilliant from start to finish recommend highly.

These five star reviews are given in exchange for love2shop vouchers (£10) this is what accounts for the large number of them. Let’s start at the beginning. After looking online for a Hyundai i800 I found this company who had around 19 for sale all around 2 years old with an average of 30k on the clock. I spoke with a lad called michael who told me they do a 0% finance deal over 18 months which was very tempting so I took the missus and father in law on a 2 and a half hour trip. After looking at some we settled on one to test drive. Straight away there was an engine management light “it’s due to lack of fuel” was the salesman response. I asked for a printed report of the diagnostics and was told it would just be sorted. The finance deal of 0% was only available if I took a £2600 3year warranty package (the car has 3 years manufacturer warranty left so why would I bother). I told the salesman (Ian M) that I would be paying off the finance within 30 days and so wanted to know what the total cost of credit would be. He pointed to his computer screen and said 10 pounds. Why would you believe a salesperson you are saying to yourself... Well I did. The missus drove the car away and rang me around 10 minutes later to tell me the engine management light was back on and said she was back at cartime. I called her back and she told me the sales manager had told her to take it to our local Hyundai Dealership who would sort it. The next day we called to try and get an appointment (two weeks) so had to have the car diagnosed locally which indicated a sensor fault. Parts were fitted over 5 visits to the dealership and still no joy. MOT changes this year (2018) state that ANY engine management light is a fail. Cartime sold a faulty car knowingly. They initially said they would accept the car back but now are refusing to do this even after the finance company have been involved. One of the directors accepted the sales man required training and offered some monies as a goodwill gesture (after we mentioned having some secret shoppers pay them a visit) but this has also been revoked even though I have emails from them stating this. If you are thinking of visiting them, save the time, if you are reading this AFTER buying from them you aren’t an idiot you were simply lied to. I would advise doing what I am doing and contacting the Financial Ombudsman and the Motor Ombudsman if they get enough complaints we might get some justice.

Aaron Jordan was absolutely fantastic! He was extremely patient and didn’t push me at all to make any decision. I would only ever use Cartime in the future and I have no issues recommending everyone to use this fantastic company and ask for Aaron he is brilliant! Thanks again everyone in Cartime!!!
Andy was very helpful and professional towards us and never "pushy". Would buy from cartime again as the service was excellent and efficient. The car we bought was a good price and is excellent.
I purchased my car with absolutely no hassle! I was left to observe the vehicle with without being hounded which was great, I was just handed the keys and left to look around it. I dealt with a manager when I first arrived who was fab ( I think his name may of been Paul)! I didn't receive any phone calls after I had enquired about the car or after I had left to think about it - Unlike other dealerships I had visited including the main dealer! I received a great price for the car I part exchanged. I've since taken my car in for a service and also an MOT and every staff member couldn't of been more helpful. I dealt with Megan prior to purchasing who was very helpful :) and also Jenni a lady at the Service Centre who were both excellent!
