Only had my car 4 month, within 3 weeks there was a problem with my engine, then a week after that I had a leak in ma radiator now 2 month down the line all my electrics have went car wont start and my steering is away!! so angry and annoyed the fact my family knows them.
We have purchased car Seat Altea in August 2017 under name of Charles Rooney Car sales. Now Rooney Car sales. Still same address and same people! Beware!!!!! Car with one year MOT and tested when we decided to buy a car. Didn't pass MOT, so all was fixed (back exhaust holder and shock absorber). Came to pick up car, sale agreed, drove back home.Discovered oil leak from spring coil, back for repair. Fixed. Meantime finding air condition not working although when discussed car sale it was said is working, maybe requires charging. The long process of asking to repair air cond after finding that charging didn't help and finally Charles Rooney agreed to repair. Fixed by the external garage with one year warranty but air condition not working after 3 months and not possible for 2 weeks to get details where was fixed???? No word of commitment by salesperson!!!! 2 weeks of phone calls and visiting place! Dodgy place and company! Also, there was a minor problem with door locker and while Charles Rooney tried to fixed it he lost 3 screws! It has caused the problem with a window that I could not close as the door panel was not fixed properly and did not hold the window in place!!!!! Horror!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! Also when tried to inspect air condition lost some screws too! And what else? Fixed exhaust for MOT broken after 2 months! I warn you not to do any business with these company/ companies. Search internet well in advance there is some info about them!!! I will work either to get a compensation or will dedicate my time to spreading the word!

Bought a car a while ago from Charles Rooney Car Sales which should never have passed an MOT, he didn’t realise my partner is an MOT tester, and gave the car a clear check over and found numerous faults from tyres to the brakes!! Arrogant rude conman!!! Should be shut down! If I could have gave zero stars I would.

I travelled 400miles for my journey to Charles Rooney Car Sales when I received a phone call within arrival that the vehicle I had rang up the same morning for, had been sold. I made sure i spoke with the same person, Gary, whom i communicated with the day before via email. The very next morning, i phoned up before making my journey and confirmed that the car was available. Only later to be told that they sold it to one of their long standing customers. My time and expense wasted completely not to mention exhausted for nothing.

I bought a Peugeot 207cc about 2 months ago. I was told that the mot had passed with a few advisories but nothing major. We were also told that the car wouldn't have any warranty due to the low price (£1500). 2 weeks after purchasing the car I had to replace the 2 front tyres. I also noticed a warning signal which would appear and disappear. I've just been told that the car needs a new catalytic converter and exhaust which will cost £1500 to replace. I was advised by a Peugeot mechanic to check the previous MOT completed by Charles Rooney and guess what! He didn't mention half the stuff that was fixed. Please stay clear of this garage! The mechanic told me that the catalytic converter would never have passed an MOT! Absolutely disgusting!

I went to Charles Rooney in April and purchased a ford fiesta. The overall service at the dealership was very good, the staff were all friendly and willing to help, The car was in pretty good condition and was a fair price. These was an issue with one of the engine parts and this was promptly replaced but I have recently come to realised that the air con pipe has a leak in it so I will have to return to the dealership to have it repaired. I would recommend this dealership based on their excellent service and willingness to repair any damages.

1 week of buyin car had to get new front tyre, 3 weeks later had to replace driveshaft on passenger side ,2 weeks after this had to replace the other driveshaft as well as disc brake-brake pads. Cv joints an ball joints on both sides and yesterday my brakes failed with son in car due to needin new cylinder head this place is disgraceful gt the same attitude as wat do u expect fr the price of £1250 and this car was supposed to b looked at by Their mechanic really wouldnt recommend this place to any1
