My daughter purchased a black Fiat 500 from this garage in May, its her first car. After leaving a deposit we read past reviews and felt nervous buying the car but true to our word paid for IT. We can tell anyone reading this review that she's never looked back, it is an excellent car, we had it checked over and bought a bargain.

Bought a car Cleckheaton Motor Sales and realised on getting it home it had a major oil leak. Rung them up and spoke directly to the manager. She said car was sold with no warranty. This I feel is how they sell all their cars its on all the paperwork as a way of getting out of the responsibility. They still have to ensure the car is fit for purpose. They eventually agreed on having a look at the car, when we took the car they wouldnt open up, so rung them and amazingly they answered the phone. The manager said we'd have to come back as the mechanic was on a call out. Anyway decided to take the car to a garage to see the extent of the problem, there was £20 worth of repairs and they fixed the oil leak. We also noticed the leak has been attempted to be hidden by using an adjustable spanner to hold the seal together. After telling them this and advising they shouldn't be selling cars like this in such a state she claimed to not even inspect the cars just sell them on and this was direct from the manager. Shocking. Imagine driving on the motorway with this coming loose, it could have potentially caused an accident. Got a mechanic to look over the car and need some other minor repairs. Spent about £200 putting it right. I would say avoid Cleckheaton Motor Sales. Your basically buying with no warranty and potentially a problematic car. Luckily I noticed the problem before someone was a victim.

Most awful garage I have ever come across! They wouldn't even change put in a tape player that they had agreed, the reg was broken and smashed!! Awful when we asked why it didn't have a CD player he went mad saying no that's it here is your deposit back and basically threw IT at my boyfriend disgusting people, disgusting service...would advise anyone and everyone to stay away from this disgrace of a business!!!

Car bought was in February 15 was a Vauxhall Corsa, I quickly found the were carpets saturated, bought from showroom with windows fully open realised why now, so far had n/s/f wheel bearing, wiper blades, front tyres, water ingress fixed. I had no help from garage, 3 letters I sent were not answered, telephone calls as well that just doesn't exist. This is the worst car sales dealership i have dealt with. Court action is my next step. Why should honest people have to deal with such aggravation after paying for a car in good faith. As for the months warranty, what a joke. AVOID at all costs.

I bought a car from this garage,all there cars where low miles,I got a great deal,I,d been every where looking at rubbish ,this garage sells nice cars,they where very busy selling them when I was there.i will tell my friends.

Have been calling for last few days about a car they have on Autotrader. I managed to get through once to ask a few details which the man on the other end didn't have the answers and sounded irritated. After some thought and ignoring the previous call, I decided to put an holding deposit on the car before travelling 100 miles to collect. Unable to get through by phone or emails. It doesn't fill me with confidence when someone doesn't want to answer the phone (mobile only!) to sell. how bad would it be if there is an issue. Decided not to contact them again. What a shame, as it appears that they have all the ingredients to do it right.

I was prepared to travel over 100 miles to view 4 minis they had in stock. They never once answered the phone, on all 3 numbers given. Never replied to messages left, and couldn't even be bothered to answer emails. No wonder they have what look to be nice cars on there website, but never seem to sell. Other traders in the area, say low milage minis are like gold dust, and are sold as soon as they come in. What a way to run a business.

Phoned this garage to query about a car they were selling to which I had no answer so decided to drive down (a 20 mile journey). I arrived at 5 past 4 to which I had an ignorant salesperson tell me they'd shut for the day and to come back at 9am. They were meant to shut at five. I most certainly will not be returning at 9am or any other time for that matter. Not a way to run a business

Really good service. Car has worked perfectly fine for 2 months now so I will happily post a review. Car came in immaculate state and was exactly what I wanted! Was so nervous for my first car but they looked after me!

Car broke down within 20 minutes of driving away from garage although I did get a refund it still cost me over £200 with petrol, cancelled insurance and tow trucks to get it back to the garage. Very disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.
