Had a good look around the 'showroom' warehouse, which is littered with used rattle spraycans. Every single car in there is a pile of cheap auction bought rusty and damage repaired rubbish. Everything had poorly resprayed panels, was rusted to hell underneath or had bodged accident damage repairs. Someone who didnt know what they were looking at or doesnt know anything about cars would see shiny and presentable cars. DO NOT BE FOOLED! Everything I saw was an absolute shined up turd.

COMPLETE LIARS - Bought a car from them without reading reviews and utterly regret it, they assure you everything is okay with it and a couple of weeks after purchasing loads of issues start to arise that are not covered by their warranty (they won’t tell you that), do not buy a car from these, would not recommend.

THEY SCAMMED ME - I bought a car from them that had a broken part, they said they’ll order it to my house, it’s been 3 weeks and still hasn’t arrived, after thousands of calls to them it turned out they haven’t even ordered it. Then they stop answering my calls on purpose and when i rang off a different number he pretended to not hear me. Would not recommend

Living about 1.5 hours away from Cleckheaton myself and my wife decided to go and visit Cleckheaton Motors, having looked around so many sites and garages could not believe the standard of cars nor the variety at such competative rates, so what was it like when arriving, first impressions couldnt believe the amount of cars on offer. The experience was very laid back and definitely unrushed, we found the car we liked a 2011 Vauxhall Meriva at (Advertised at 60K but nearer 63K) But this did not put us off but was something I think would be better being totally honest about. The Staff did not bother us, we were in out, bonnet up, in out, looking at other cars, back to the Meriva, minds made up we approached one of the team who arranged test drive, great car knew it was right straight away, came back from drive, reported 2 minor faults, oil low, and passenger electric window not operating from passenger side, we reported these, said they would be sorted by time of collection, deposit made drive home. I would advise do your own checks piece of mind, I paid for full history check looked at all mots, checked with garage that provided bulk of service history , which was well worth the trouble as the car had been given a full cam belt timing kit change only 4000 miles earlier in 2022, so this was an amazing bonus as I was prepared to find that cost myself being such a stunning car, went back 6 days later, car ready, paid balance checked car, jobs done, drove home. No pressure, jobs sorted, and can say the car is absolutely superb, So do your homework approach team and see what you could end up owning. Best advice do your own homework then ask the questions, if you dont and you just buy, you may be a disgruntled customer instead of a extremely happy one like us, hope this helps you make your decision.

Bought a car we liked the look of. Told we'd get 3 months warranty to which was a lie! Had to send the car back to fix problems straight away. Fixed 1 and botched the other problem. After only 2 months we phoned to try get the car looked at it because it sounded bad. To be told our warranty of 3 months was a lie they only gave 1 month. Shock horror the car breaks an cost us over £1000 to fix. They knew the car they sold us would of had serious problems in the near future. Absolute cowboys stay away from this garage!!

Absolute joke. Bought a 2008 Corsa. Turns out it has a trouble with its oil pump. After weeks of back and forth they finally accept a repair. I lose the car for 4 weeks during the repair and when I collect it the "fix" clearly isnt working witht he oil light on. No V5 on purchase MOT in 2 months despite being AA registered. MOT failure on bulbs and rollbar end caps. Illegal tyres. Now potentially a blown gasket all since being bought late August.

Avoid this company at all costs. Worst service I've ever received, the staff are ignorant & uninterested. That's the best part! Zero after service despite being told there was "a months warranty". They just don't respond. The car was actually not even roadworthy & we were lucky to make it the one hour journey home. This car had been put through its MOT for the sale & passed with a completely rotten exhaust which fell off 2 days later, the brakes were metal on metal & the engine skid plate fell off 2 weeks later (this had been fastened on with wire ties!) We have now spent almost £1000 on repairs. Please don't buy from this company.
