I bought a car from this dealership and I reluctantly travelled a long way to see the advertised car on only the detailed description given over the phone, when I arrived to see the car I wasnt disappointed to find that Adam the salesman has actually described the vehicle accurately and had not hidden anything about the vehicle. So not a wasted journey. The car was well presented and I was more than happy with the way the salesman dealt with my enquiries. I was offered a test drive and was left to assess the car for myself with no pushy sales jargon. Also managed to upgrade the warrany to a level that I was happier with. I part-exchanged my car and feel i was given a fair and honest part-ex figure.(of course it could of been better) All in all a pleasure to have such a smooth and hassle free purchase. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.
Warning !!! Having agreed a price on a car - I arranged finance third party. I was told that I need to place a small deposit to secure vehicle as finance may take 3-4 days to arrange. I agreed and left a £100 deposit and was told it would be returned - once the third party finance was sent to them. I collected the car no problem. One week later and they still haven't returned my deposit claiming the screen price was actually £100 more ( it wasn't - the finance company proved it) and the deposit wasn't a deposit and was part of the price. Currently taking them to court - out of principal. Do not use this company unless you want after sales hassle and being lied to.

Drove 1hr to view a Honda Civic Diesel, car had various issues that were not listed on the advert (missing parcel shelf, mould/damp boot carpet, mirror broken and HID light faulty), took for a test drive and the clutch was so bad that car was un-driveable over 2.5k rpm. Also service history was nearly 2yrs out of date. Salesman played dumb and blamed the workshop. Car is still being advertised on Auto trader with no issues and FSH

After visiting a few car dealers in Peterborough i was taken to Direct Cars as there was no pressure in buying. The salesman actually knew what he was talking about and not referring back to colleagues or the internet. Overall the drive, condition and price were fantastic.
The staff at Direct Cars Peterborough are helpful and friendly but not very knowledgeable. The vehicle I was looking for was an Audi TT. However it died out during the test drive and I had to walk about a mile back through quite a heavy rain (had left the phone in my car). While the dealer acknowledged the TC light always on they did not acknowledge the instrument cluster and the alternator or wiring issues which caused the car to die completely as I was driving on a nearby A road at 60mph!!! They kept blaming the bad battery. Even so, why would you give a potential client a car for test drive with a busted battery (which was obviously not the issue here since once started it's the alternator that does the job of powering the car). Of course I did not buy the car and left the dealership immediately. I'm not saying all their cars are bad and the staff was nice enough but if you want to buy use your judgement and pay attention (and bring a knowledgeable mechanic if you don't know anything about cars).

Direct Cars weren't too bad, the whole thing was a little rushed, they didn't seem to know the vehicle too well, definitely lacking in customer service and attention to detail. They did sort out a problem I pointed out during the test drive and I'm happy I got a good car out of the deal so I can't fault them there. If they had the right car I would consider them again but I won't be rushing back.

Since my purchase from Direct Cars Peterborough I have had a number of issues with my car which have left me to say that this is not a used car dealership that I would recommend to other people to buy a car from. Direct Cars have been less than helpful and aren't responding, not very happy with this dealership who are not resolving my issues.
