He refused to pay back the £200 deposit l made towards an Audi Q5.All what he advertised about the car was wrong,he said the car’s Mot was expiring in sept 2020, that turned out to be a lie, the car had no Mot ,he said the mileage was 104000, that turn out to be a lie, he later admitted that his mates wife was still using the car when l asked to view it, Although the car had no road tax. He is not a sincere dealer, be careful with this dealer, up till now he has totally refused to pay back my deposit , all he said was that l should take him to court that he would not give me back my £200 deposit.Never buy any car from this guy, you will surely regret it.

After spending months looking for a car for my daughter I visited the showroom they could not of been more helpful we’ve had the car a couple of months and any problems we’ve had have been dealt with professionally and fairly would highly recommend DK Cars and Vans.

Bought a Renault clio from DK cars and Van's recently. Tried to get the car taxed but the post office said that the v5c2 form given to me had been used previously. Therefore I couldn't use it to tax the car. I had to pay £25 to use a V62 form instead. I requested that DK cars and vans refund me the £25, as it was not my fault that I couldn't tax the car. Despite numerous calls to Andy, I have still not got my money back. The car was sold to me suppositivly with a three month warranty. I have still not received any paperwork for the warranty. Andy says I will receive it in the post! My advice would be to stay well clear of this company. If you do use them make sure you get all the correct paperwork upfront and don't believe them if they promise to send it in the post.

I am a disabled person and i P/EX my perfect working order car for a 6 years younger upgrade from Dk Cars And Vans. Why oh why did i not read the reviews before i bought a car from this criminal i will never know? (Don't make the same mistake as me!) First the car was delivered with the interior filthy and stinking, but we cleaned it all up and put new seat covers on and new mats down. Straight away it was difficult to drive as it would not go into gear easy and after a week or so it seized up and would not go into gear at all stranding me at a set of busy traffic lights, lucky after a while some young lads took pity on me and pushed me to a local garage where they worked on it for 2 hours reattaching linkage cables, this cost us £156. They also said they could not promise it won’t happen again and that the car may need a new linkage and the cost would be around £800. Dk Cars And Vans ignored my emails for a couple of days then they did contact me after i told them the problem was starting again, getting difficult going into first gear. We agreed to give it seven days to see if it still has the problem but i could not as the car stopped working altogether after a couple of days, again stranding me a disabled person miles from home. I told Dk Cars And Vans but i was ignored again. Then i sent an email asking for my money back under The Consumer Rights Act 2015 which makes it an implied term of the contract I have with Dk Cars And Vans that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality and as Dk Cars And Vans are in breach of contract and I've owned the product for less than 30 days I am within my statutory rights to ask for a full refund of the original cost paid. But of course i have been ignored. I have had to buy another from a good dealer thank goodness. Now once Dk Cars And Vans have ignored my request for 14 days i can the take it to Trading Standards and The Motor Ombudsman and then onto court if i have to. There is no way he is getting away with doing this to me.

All you hundreds of people out there who have been cheated by Dwayne owner of Dk Cars And Vans Ltd please make sure you report him to Auto Trader (where he claims to be a highly rated dealership) and to your local Trading Standards office and most importantly The Motor Ombudsman. It is time to stop him getting away with it.

hi i would just like to give my side of the actual story here we sold you a £1890 .11 years old renault scenic we took in px your old scenic for £!90 as the car was only good for scrap the car was a death trap. we have proof that it went straight to the scrap yard in your review you state it was a good car. we delivered your scenic to your address in london my colleague andy met your sister who was the new owner after around 2 weeks you email me saying there was a problem with the gear selection you said you had had the work done but they couldnt gaurentee how long it would last and a new set of gear cables would cost £800 after this i done some homework after looking on internet sights i found brand new set of cables for £180 i then emailed you and said we will get the car collected on the tuesday and get the work done @ no charge to you you then said in your email witch i have copys of dont worry seems to be fine we will leave it a week or so i then get a email about a week later saying the car had broken down on the side of the road and had to be pushed of the road and that you wanted a full refund i said this was not a problem and if you got the car delivered back to us i will give you a full refund you said you would not drop it back and said that i was a con man so i hired a recovery truck for the following week as i needed 1 with a winch to pull the car on the back as you said the car would not run so i came with my coligue andy we were met at the car by yourself david hamlin you gave us the key we went to the car the battery was flat so we jump started it the car started straight away we didnt even put it on the truck andy drove the car back to our macanics over 35 miles away with no problems whatsoever our macanic looked over the car and couldnt find no problems even the battery charged up i personly drove the car for the next 5 days and done over 350 miles and the car has been fine starting stopping driving perfect perhaps it just didnt like your sister as you stated in your email to me so im not sure 1how im a con man as i payed you all your money back that you payed for the car 2 how am i the worst car dealer in the country as you put in your review like i said we have been in buissniss over 9 years and sell a lot of cars i understand with the price cars and age cars we sell we are going to get the odd problem and in your case i done everything i could to help you ie offered to come collect car and get problem fixed you said no then you say it broke down again i came collected the car gave you a full refund of what you payed for the car thanks dwayne

I have reported him to Autotrader and I have made my comments there but this disgraceful dealer has some way and removes some of the negative reviews in Autotrader. The rest of them are fake in their majority anyway. He sold me a dangerous car. Thank god we didn’t die with my wife. I was thinking of taking him to the court but it would be a great hassle for me. The car was on the verge of explosion!

Thanks David, I didn't know that motor standards existed. I am going to report him now as I had a bad experience too and he stole my £200. Eventually got my deposit back by my bank but he is a total scam. I had the same problems with this bunch of dishonest thieving people, they lie, they promise to get things repaired and put right, they tell you to go to your own garage to get things done and they will refund the money, we got a quote authorised by Andy had the work done, no money refunded, in total lost best part of £500 do not deal with them, I was totally had over by Andy a real con man, DK cars and vans if this is not true please respond and I will write out the full story of how you cheat and lie
The salesman let’s you think that their After Sales Service is great but he is a complete liar! We bought a car for my daughter, my concern was that it only had a couple of months MOT left. I was assured by the salesman, who signed a piece of paper stating that should the car fail & be costly to repair, they would help towards the cost. After 2 weeks of driving the car, the gears were very stiff and difficult to get into gear. I had a dealer check this & the car needed gear cables, costing around £400. It failed MOT on brakes & shocks costing another £400. After numerous calls to the salesman, he was rude, abusive shouting at me basically saying that I had taken it to a garage that was trying to make it new again!! Then telling me that I just didn’t want to put my hand in my pocket. Really!! I work in customer care, this garage needs shutting down!
I have been subject to lies and fake promises from Andy Petit an owner who has no scruples and will say anything to get a sale. I am yet to be paid for getting work done that was under warranty weeks after being asked to use my own garage. Avoid DK Cars and Vans.
