I would probably need a lot of space to describe my bad experience with DK Cars and Vans. I should have never bought anything from them. They sold me a car with many problems. They were aware about these problems from the beginning and when I requsted to return the extremely problematic car they became rude, threatening me. The only reason I bought a car from them is that they had some good reviews in Autotrader, but I am now completely sure that most of them are fake. I cannot see any professionalism in this company. I am giving them 0 stars, but unfortunately the system does not accept that and I have to put at least one star. Please avoid!

DK Cars and Vans are kind and nice talking at first! Bought a car, 3 days later discovered faults.Took the car back to get it fixed as it was under 3 months warranty. 4 days later was informed that the problems were resolved.The dealer insisted I had to pay a token fee! (But the car is under warranty???) Planned to pick the car up the following day, within this time I was hassled by texts and calls to clarify that I must pay this fee! ( in which became quite intimidating) On arrival I refused to pay as I stated that the car was not fit for purpose and these problems should of been fixed prior to selling it. The dealer from being nice and kind quickly turned incredibly nasty! The end of the day I payed a lot money for a car that should fit for purpose! Will not be returning to this dealeragain and reports have been made. Please stay away!

Daughter-in-law bought a Golf GTI 3 weeks ago from DK Cars & Vans, within 4 days the engine management light came on, he refused to see the vehicle as he said the garage was shut over the bank holiday, the vehicle then wouldn't start, we have phoned him many times, only to be shouted at, talked over, threatened with police. We took the car to a reputable garage and the cat converter and needs replacing and the coolant system draining and flushing at a cost of £500 the car only cost £880. We are within the 30 days of asking for a full refund but he says this will take 14-21 days, god knows why as we paid by card it can be refunded to the card. He has now sent a text to say he is refusing to talk to me. My daughter-in-law even told him she was pregnant and needed a larger vehicle but he is a disgrace as a car dealer and a disgrace as a human being. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE

avoid this company. I brought a van been told it was on warranty only to find out the next day when I broke down it wasn’t and he wouldn’t pay for it we got to a agreement we would go half on the payment to fix the problem and it never happened

Bought a car from D K cars have been looking for a car for my daughter for 3 months then found DK cars & vans near chelmsford fantastic condition & service second to none,highly recommend

Thus guy is just the worst car dealer ever. Nice talking but not reliable and trust worthy at all. If I could give less or no stars I would. He still owes us money. I dont get how can people like him be allowed to do any business at all.

Saw a Silver Ford Focus, it drove, reacted and felt like a well maintained car. Enquired about the Cam Belt (having done 106,000 miles) he didn't know but his mechanic would check it and MOT it to make sure it was sound before we picked it up. I went back 2 days later. Explained it was my first car with 2 kids it needed to be reliable. Mechanic had looked at the belt and didn't think it needed doing had sorted a coolant leak (he said its where the belt was replaced and not filled up again). He gave me a warranty for 3 months, however I wanted to check the belt regardless. Lucky I did! There were more cracks in it than the titanic. The coolant holder was cracked underneath and still leaking and the car was filthy where the eyes wont see. So annoyed, the seller basically drove it in, DK Cars reversed it, added �1000 to the price and sold it to the first muggins that walked in. Avoid these guys, paid full price for a "spot on" car spent �400 more making it safe for my young kids.

DK Cars and Vans are liar and not true to their words, they sold a Nissan Juke with no radio, since then he has been promising he would get it fixed, he lied that ge will get it fixed, now he is no longer picking his calls, please stay away from him he is a liar and very dishonest, he is only interested in your money, as soon as he get the money, you're in his trap, all his promises before you purchase the cars is all lies, and he is very rude.

Okay so i should have read the reviews about DK Cars and Vans beforehand as i would not have gone to this car garage, just bought a car from him on the basis he would change the clutch in the car IT HAS NOT BEEN DONE now on the phone to him constantly he is getting angry with me and promising it was changed by a mechanic which is in the same units as him but HE stamped the service book and i cannot find the mechanic name, business or number online at all even though he took the car to a different place for MOT. I will be getting the car clutch looked at and also a service as i look like i have just been used by a complete liar!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
