Took my money and tried to sell me a car that they didn’t own, was still on autotrader as a private sale! Lucky I saw the ad still and contacted the private seller. Total liars, and con artists. Got money back and reported to trading standards.

Credit where it's due, every problem I had with them was rectified eventually with more effort on my part than there should have been. The car I bought was very good all round, but it was sold with features it didn't have. Thoroughly check that everything is present before you purchase from them as I know I'm not the only customer this has happened to. Secondly, there are a few extra charges when purchasing from them that they don't mention upfront. Around £150 to get the car ready and around a £300 paperwork charge paid to the finance company. If someone from the garage says the will call you back, they almost definitely won't. It's a shame becuase the sales and aftercare team seem genuine but are poorly organised and not thorough enough. Theres were multiple examples of this throughout my purchase and the months following.

I have had many cars from the main top dealers and Emerald House of Cars are up there with the best. All staff were polite, professional and special thanks to Rich and Brad. It’s the first time I have ever had a car put on a revolving plate and unveiled for me. They prepared my car to a very high standard. Very happy indeed with the whole car buying experience.

Bought a car from this dealership - worst decision I have ever made. There is an ongoing fault with the car. Three times they have had the car in. It sat in their yard for days the first two times and for two weeks the third while I was driving around in the worst courtesy cars in the world to be told there’s nothing wrong with it. The fault is still there with a major component on the car. Every time I drive it I worry it’s going to go whole the finance company get paid and they keep playing their stupid wheel of fortune. I’d rather walk for the rest of my life than give these shysters another penny

MY Recent purchase at Emerald Cars Volkswagen Passat CC 2.0 TDI Highline Sport in silver, Cars lovely for its market value and a great price overall, we travelled a lot this day, to meet Russell was great with us, no pressure down to earth guy. Checked out the car on arrival very happy with it, test drove lovely very happy chappy, everyone back home says the car is very nice and great spec, i have always wanted a CC passat and now thanks to guys at emerald cars i have one. highly recoomend you check them out, great people. I notice also everyone is very much on site and helping out and they make you feel welcomed. Thanks to Russell for Supplying my new Volkswagen Passat CC, great car cheers. Tried to enquire about car, initially received 2 texts, 3 emails, 2 missed calls and a voicemail. Very pushy a first. As soon as they discovered I did not want finance deal they cut all contact and didn’t want to know. Not sue why they advertise a car to buy out right when they behave like this! Avoid Emerald House of Cars.
