Went in to buy a new car and wanted to just get some figures. I advised the maximum monthly payment I would be willing to make which I told them. The guy then looked at my mileage to quote on a pcp and told me I have done 14k which I said seemed low but he had my MOT details to check on his computer so never questioned it. So surprise surprise 14k miles gave me the monthly amount I had budgeted for. Anyway paid £500 and agreed to collect the following weekend. I decided to look at trying to privately sell my car to get more before I collect the new one as I could of got 2k more then offered but I needed to confirm my MOT expiry when I listed it for sale. When looking I noticed I had actually done 22k miles not 14k! I messaged straight away as I knew this would affect the monthly payment. Anyway they told me just to lie about my miles il do as it won’t matter but I didn’t feel comfortable as I know you get penalty fees at the end of the term if you go over the miles. Regardless they said either lie or you loose your deposit so they have kept my £500 and are refusing to return it as I didn’t want to lie.

I bought an Audi TT from ESP Cars (Jan 2022) and whilst I am happy with the car itself, the after sales experience did not go well. Close to purchase ESP cars identified the rear light needed replacing which they did replace. However, the fitting of this light was poor, it was not aligned flush to the adjoining body of the car and part of the light itself had broken off (see photo) Upon reporting this to ESP, I was informed the car had gone through preparation correctly and they dismissed these claims despite me sending photographic evidence of the poorly fitted light (the day after collecting the car!) no offer was made to remedy this matter which was disappointing. In terms of other matters, I was told the car had a 3 month warranty, I was given absolutely no paperwork regarding this, instead ESP just wanted to push their “Premium Comprehensive” warranty at £699 which seemed highly marked up. I didn’t have the luxury of spending hours for the car handover, however viewing the car indoors in very poor lighting allied with no offer to test drive it before driving off I felt was also poor. So overall, yes a nice car, would I buy again from ESP nope, certainly not. For me after-sales is just as important and I hope ESP can take the lessons learnt here to improve their customer experience moving forward.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Car was missing service history. Was not allowed to see the paperwork before I had the money sent across. Was made to sit in the office while they waited for the money to clear. Money from a finance house. Made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Car issues came up, got quote to fix it, dealer refused to get the issue fixed. "promised the car was fully looked over which took a week of them doing absolutely nothing to the car. Wayne the manager has the worst attitude when dealing with customers. Joel the sales agent never contacted me again after the deposit was paid, everybody else was replying to emails. Avoid at all costs if and where possible!
Do not buy from this place, worst experience ever, poor service, very arrogant. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Sold me a dodgy car with faults every weeks. Bought it back to them twice for repair, no work done on it. No proof whatsoever. Same problem occurred three times. I ask for a refund as they don't pick up my calls when I call them and trying to avoid the situation. Now they're Refusing to refund my money which I will take legal action.

Absolutely disgusted with the service we received when we collected our new car from Leo ESP. Salesman was rude, car wasn’t valeted and handover was rushed. He didn’t even take the time to show us around the car! Stay well clear from these cowboys. Absolute joke.

Just purchased 2012 BMW 3 series. Like others I have purchased cars over many years and this was by far the best experience to date. Friendly helpful staff who weren't pushy and answered all questions asked. Work that needed doing was completed as promised, on picking car up it had had a full valet and looked a million dollars. Would recommend ESP to anyone, particular thanks to Phil who was superb throughout the whole process.
