Very good pushy sales men at Forton Motors, have the gift of the gab, sell unsafe dangerous cars. That have had digonotic tests, also been taken back to the dealership the person who makes the cars. To discover that the engine issues that are dangerous could cause £7000 or more. The brake pads where failed. Bare in mind I’ve only had the car 4 months. The main dealership said I shouldn’t have even left the garage which was down to him as mileage proved that this was forton motors issues. Avoid. Or throughly check up on work done. Also on the dvla website there was a recall on this car another issue the garage should have delt with. Work that needs doing before being sold!
I had an issue with my 4x4 which was not purchased from them but as I was passing I stopped off. The whole team could not be more helpful they went above and beyond to advised me and even sorted out the issue, they spent quite some time with me when it came to payment they would not accept any payment from myself whatsoever needless to say this place will be first on my list when it is time to change the car, Highly recommended, Thanks

I have purchased my last 3 cars from Forton Motors and also recommended a family member who also purchased their last 2 vehicles. I love the no pressure, friendly service with great after sales care. If you are looking for a reliable garage without the usual car sales pressure then please ignore some of the other reviews on here and visit Forton Motors. I love my latest car and will definitely not consider any other garage when I eventually change it.
I took my Vauxhall back to Forton Motors to get fixed as within 3mths the car failed to start correctly 4times &the DPF light kept coming on & then the engine management light. Although these came on the car was driving fine. I was then shocked to be told the diagnostic machine had shown a coolant fault & my radiator was empty,damaged &needed replaced? I'm sure I would of been aware of driving with a dry radiator surely! After a lot of conversations of me not believing I should pay & them feeling the same I agreed to pay a contribution to get my car fixed ASAP! I had to keep chasing for updates. After 2.5 wks my husband was told they have had 3different radiators that didn't fit,there were none available in Europe so they had to go to the main dealers (why didn't this happen initially?) Over 3 weeks since dropping the car off I was called by Steve & told the car was ready &I would need to pay for a new battery as that was what was causing the DPF filter not to regenerate itself and my car not starting those 4times. I had no problems with my battery previously? I said I wasn't paying for a new battery ( I wasn't even asked if it was ok to fit) so I was told my own battery would be back on which I was fine with. The other man was there when I picked the car up and tried to charge me for a new battery which was still on the car I refused & asked him to put my original battery back on. He then went on to say every time they needed to move my car it had to be jump started they were doing me a favour. Surprise surprise my car started fine with the original battery as it has continued to do all day! Avoid this garage as the after sales service is a joke one tells you one thing the other something else most of it being a lot of bull, I can not believe it has taken over 3weeks to fix a radiator and DPF. I didn't have any other means of transport during this time and expressed many times why I needed the car back ASAP. Very disappointed.
Stay well clear of Forton Motors. DO NOT buy their warranty it is not worth the paper its written on. We are £6,500 out of pocket. Legal advisors and trading standards we are on our way!!

I found the staff very helpful and willing to answer any questions I had ( even one stupid question! Very pleased with my purchase as well. Would recommend Forton Motors to anyone!

Over the years we have bought all our cars from Forton Motors for ourselves and other family members and we could not fault the service or the quality of the cars. We currently have two Ford Focus cars bought from them and our son and daughter are driving Citroen C3s and they are all reliable and pass the MOTs first time with no issues.
This is my second purchase from Forton Motors, the first car was a seven seater S MAX FORD , and is fantastic, the recent one was for my young son who upon passing his test needed his first car. I cannot recommend this company enough, both staff members are extremely patient, kind and understanding, and do not overwhelm you like most garages, great service, very good company, thank you.
Forton Motors sold me a car wasnt roadworthy engine was faulty. Wont pay money they owe. No mobile number. No email. One number impossible to get through to owner. Trading standards. court and the ombudsman next step. Phone and try and speak to Steve the owner if you don't believe me. Stuart doesn't do anything but fob u off. BUY AT YOUR PERIL.

They don't have a correct vat number on there sales forms the company says its been trading years but have only just gone onto company house. Hiding something. Keep away buy a car from any where else but here. Forton Motors lie to your face.

With response to your review Dazza I would like to again inform that Forton Motors are a well established business having been trading here since 2003 up to date and our previous premises since 1986 and definitely have nothing to hide, as we are a very successful business. All our team here at Forton Motors have always been credited for their fantastic customer service and complete honesty. We think this review from yourself is down to a slight noise on the vehicle, which we both spoke about at point of sale, however sometime later you say we didn't mention this noise at point of sale, so as a good will gesture from ourselves, we agreed to have a look at your car. Instead you have taken your vehicle to a neighboring garage for them to have a look at, as you told us that you didn't want us to diagnose the slight noise for you. Then I believe you collected your car then drove away without paying them! We can't understand this review as you being a customer, you came in to Forton Motors after you placed your review on our website. Then approximately a week later you called in to Forton Motors on the (19th December) not mentioning anything to do with the noise and in polite conversation you wished us a Happy Christmas and all the best for the New Year!!

After taking the vehicle to a local garage that you told me to I did you didn't pay the bill as it was your bill to pay Stuart told me to take it to this local garage on your say so. You tried to get out of paying our finance off until we brought the letter in. Steve you lie to your customers faces then lie lie lie You don't do the right thing for the customer and your Vat recipient are wrong my solicitor has told me this But you know this already.

After leaving school in 1980 serving an apprenticeship as a BMW mechanic , this giving a very good knowledge of our vehicles that we sell to our customers.
