We bought a Nissan Elgrand from Free Spirit Campervans in March 2019. The quality of the Van is superb despite being 14 years old. It got a full service and conversion before we picked it up and it has given us no end of joy this year. Rupert and Adrian are extremely knowledgeable about the vans they sell and the best campsites to visit in the UK. Whenever we have had a question, they’ve always answered it speedily and fully. Their service is great and the Campervan is too. We’ve had no problems with our camper despite having 50 nights away in it this year. We’ve driven the camper all over the country in all weathers and driving this van is an absolute joy and a big part of our holidays and weekends away. The conversion is exceptional and very top spec. We got to choose our interior and the fittings as well as stereo. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. We had looked around at numerous different Campervan sellers but are so happy we chose Freespirit Autos to buy from. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

I purchased a Nissan Elgrand and I am writing this review after a bedding in period. Rupert made the purchase an easy and a pleasant experience, he clearly knows about Nissan's and campervans in general. I had the pop-up roof coversion done by Rupert but opted to do a partial inside conversion myself. The van is brilliant and drives really well and Rupert has been very helpful over a couple of cosmetic issues. So all in all excellent sales and service and I have recommended FreeSpirit to others.

My experience of buying the van was excellent, Rupert certainly knows his stuff and was very helpful and practical in his advice. We have used the van for trips to Europe and UK, it runs well and no problem. There have been a couple of minor niggles, but 2 years-on still going strong and Rupert has serviced and looked after the vehicle and the conversion. I would recommend Free Spirit to my friends.

Looking for a good conversion I trawled a shed load of Dealer/Converters with an open mind. Free Spirit Autos met the bill of a proper economical build with add ones all delivered with the line "anything is possible": For example: I lost much of my hearing in a recent war zone so I wanted maximum sound reduction. They gave me the best at a really good price. I cycle and often get in wet and cold in remote places. They experimented with and built in flexible Solar Panels on the roof and fitted and intelligent control system to protect the batteries. They have a superb electrician! I prefer leather seats .The leather toppings they had fitted are just outstanding. I had the van converted to LPG and they modified their mountings to help fit the gear. I could go on in this vein but you get the idea. This is a good organisation that goes more than an extra mile to meet the customer's needs. In my experience this is unusual. Not every experiment worked first time but they regard it as their duty to solve it. Buying second hand is always a gamble. I found Free Spirit gave the best deal they could reasonably be expected to find. I am a satisfied customer and recommend them.

I was sold a vehicle very clean and presentable, covering a myriad of defects! Brakes, rusting reg lights, petrol pump, windscreen wipers, and it is still on going! Car is in garage and they are trying to get it road worthy! He started the warranty on the day I put down a deposit, I did not collect it till a month later when they had it ready by! I read a bad review but still went ahead my fault!
