Good sales service but poor aftercare, small piece of trim began to come away a few days after buying the car and they refused to fix it. All the guarantees and warranties sound good but they're not interested after the sale.
I today picked up my lovely mini fantastic service by Miles Hamblett he did not push us to purchase anything we did not want we found Miles very pleasant at all times and will return thank you Miles you have made me one happy lady.
Recently purchased a Golf GTI from Hilton Garage. Was very impressed with how efficient the salesman, Rob and the rest of the staff were with the whole process. There was a minor issue at the end but Rob and the team dealt with it swiftly and that resulted in a happy customer. I love my new car! Would recommend Hilton
I wore a couple of cars on the Hilton Garage website so after taking to then ivisited the garage and looked at acouple of cars. There was one which fitted my bill so I decided to have it but initially they gave me Apoorva part exchange offer which I refused so they increased ittowhat was my bottom figure. The car had acouple things to become which they did and they gave me 12 months MOT . I collected car everything looked ok hen after a couple of weeks there was a problem which kept coming and going. So i contacted them and they agreed to have the car back and they carried out an investigation and found a problem which they fixed. The only issue I have is most large car dealers offer 12month warranty Hilton's do not they only offer 1month then they sell you an AA warranty unfortunately the AA will only cover at best about 60% of the labour costs which means the warranty is very very poor.
My wife purchased a Fiat 500 convertible 62 plate from Hilton Garage just over 6 months ago at a cost of £7,000. We have been told by another garage that the gearbox has been leaking oil onto the clutch for some time, so now both the gear box and the clutch are both knackered, we had to be towed to another garage to be told that it would cost well over £1,500 to repair as also the back suspension is on its way out too.When we rang Hilton to tell them we were not happy we were told that this is normal wear and tear after 6 months ???? and there was nothing they could do. Buy from this Garage at your own peril once they have your money they don't want to know and are quite rude. RUBBISH !!!!!! Never Again

We had been looking for a Nissan, one came up on the Hilton Garage website. We rang to see if it was still available and get more details. Exactly what we wanted and was told it was available but not at the showroom site. As it was late afternoon we asked if it could be on site for opening the next morning as we wanted it. We got to the showroom for opening time after a fairly long drive, we waited for the saleman to find the car and after nearly an hour he came and told us it had been sold. We would have happily put a deposit down if asked but wasn't asked. Was it sold before we rang? Was it just a way to get us to the showroom? They did offer a few of the same type of car but very high mileage ones. Wasted a morning.
The Ford we went to view at Hilton Garage was basically exactly what we wanted in terms of spec and condition of the car. It had been valeted very well too. Staff were polite and answered all questions.
I went to view a car advertised on Autotrader, drove there, the car salesperson said it was there in stock, couldn’t find the car or the keys, so I had to go home, so the car is still advertised on their website & Autotrader, I made a follow up call a couple of days later left my details no one called back, do they actually want to sell cars in this place?
Myself and my daughter in law were both looking for a car and I had seen one on heir website, I rang and they informed me it was in stock so we drove over. On arrival I was directed to where it should be but couldn't find it (I did find many a moldy car though). After roughly an hour and 30 minutes of being fobbed of I was told they couldn't find it and it must be of site. I rang back in the week and was assured yes its definitely here we have the keys, so again we drove over and my D-I-L was also interested in a car. On arrival again they couldn't find the car and said it was in their work shop and I couldn't see it. The car my D-I-L was test driving was moldy and i mean the seat belts, door panel and it stank it was disgusting so we walked away. I returned this weekend to look at a different car, i spoke about part exchange and they offered me a ridiculous amount and said their car price was none negotiable. The whole experience and the way we were treated was dreadful why anyone would buy from there is beyond ,, Oh!! and don't forget the £98 admin charge they don't seem to mention even when paying cash/card. I have since gone to a Ford dealer and the experience couldn't of been more different. They gave me the price I wanted with no hidden charges, a full one year ford warranty and 1 year gold AA break down at no extra cost and the car I bought was cheaper than at Hilton. I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere for a better service and value for money.
