If you want to purchase a car only for the engine management light to come on three weeks later (after Imperial allegedly fully serviced and MOT'd the car) then this garage is for you! I bought an 07 BMW 3 Series Touring last month and within three weeks the engine management light came on and the car went into 'limp' mode. My local garage diagnosed the problem within minutes but what shocked me most was that the engine in the car was not the original engine but was a 'cut and shut mix and match' engine knocked together from at least two other engines. Whilst Imperial covered the cost of the repair I am staggered that they did not know about the engine in the first place seeing as though they serviced the car a few days before I picked it up. Imperial withheld the truth about the car (or they employ incompetent mechanics) and had I known its history I would not have purchased the car. So if you want to buy a dodgy car and not be told the truth about it then Imperial Motor Company is the garage for you. I now face years of misery with a car that is likely to be in and out of a garage at considerable cost to me all because Imperial 'missed' a significant fault or they withheld information from me and I was therefore unable to make an informed decision about the car.

Very pleased with Imperial Motor Co, they were courteous and explained everything about the Jaguar X-Type 2.2 Sport I purchased from them. They gave me a very good deal on my Freelander. In my view, as a very satisfied customer, they are a very reputable car sales and i would be happy to recommend them.
