I purchased a 2014 plate Mercedes SLK from Junction 17 Cars Peterborough and had the basic 3 month warranty with the vehicle. I dealt with Ian who sorted out the part exchange and the preparation of the car prior to collection. After 1000 miles the car developed a gearbox fault that felt like something was hitting you from behind when the cat changed gear. I phoned Ian and he instructed me to take the car over for them to look at it. Initially they did a gearbox service toes how that changed things and when it was still the same they took the car to a gearbox specialist to be looked at. They changed several parts and moved different relays about to try and identify the fault before eventually changing the faulty one which was quite expensive to do. In all they had the car on three separate occasions but supplied me with a courtesy car throughout the time the car was in the garage. The car now runs perfect. The total cost of the repair was about £3000 which the garage covered once the excess on the warranty was reached. I would like to thank Ian for the excellent customer service I would highly recommend Junction 17 cars
