I just been into VW Leicester Parkway, I had previously booked a test drive for the VW T-Cross at 3:00 pm. The car representative for VW (Gemma Newbold) was not available at the time, which was very dissapointing considering the test drive was organised with her. 30 minutes I had been waiting with my dad and no one had welcomed us. Eventually a representative had seen we had been waiting a while and explained that a manager called “Olly or Ollie” will be organising our test drive. At no point did the manager apologise for the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service. It was until my dad had explained we had been waiting for 30 minutes and it was not acceptable considering we had booked a test drive for 3:00 pm and it’s 3:30 pm until we were “looked after” by a representative. The manager had explained he was short staffed, I had explained if you knew were short staffed why book a test drive if you don’t have representatives to provide professional customer service. He did not acknowledge how this was wrong. The manager then explained that I am “delaying time to go out for a test drive”, he failed to acknowledge how the original car representative who was meant to be dealing with my test drive was unavailable and pretty much blamed me for the short amount time we would have had to test drive the vehicle. At this point me and my dad chose to leave the showroom and file a complaint with VW Customer Service. I am very disappointed with the level of customer service delivered by VW Parkway’s Leicester Team and have escalated this further.

Horrendous treatment. Used official Volkswagen parts for peace of mind only for the manager to look for any reason to not fulfill the warranty on the parts. He requested proof of purchase, I sourced it, he then looks for another way to fob me off. Everything he asked for I gave, and he was just intent on not fulfilling the warranty. I went with Volkswagen for the reputation, This experience left me feeling ripped off.
My wife made an appointment for today to discuss purchasing a new Polo. Our appointment was made by Henry for 2.30pm, we arrived early and Henry met us and showed us a around a model we were interested in however we were .then left waiting for over 50 minutes past the agreed appointment time before we both walked out in disgust and our deposit still in our bank.
Just purchased a near as new used car and received top notch service all the way through. I found the team at Parkway professional and received the best honest support all through the buying process. In particular Henry Jervis who dealt with me from start to finish.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS CRAPPY place, they will rip you and your car, this is a franchise and VW headquarters do not have any authority here, I have my car in for a check and they gave it back as a non runner and charged me £1000, for checking the head gasket and it’s leaking now, when I asked the service manager their response was if the head gasket open then the engine will leak,

I have bought many cars in my 57 years of driving and dealt. With ever sort of salesman there is I can say that Jason is one of the nicest that I have dealt with the t roc was as he said would be he could not have done anything more to be off help he took his time to explain the car to me and at my age 76 that means a lot would buy again from him again in 3 years time if still driving

I visited Parkways on Tuesday and was greeted by Paulina Szalkowsk, I have to say I was very impressed with the service I received and courteous manner. I went to have Apple.play fitted to my Golf Gtd by Sam the assigned technician he explained everything I needed to know on the technical side regarding the phone system, I have to say the service I received was the best I have ever had from a dealership, I recommend these guys. A shockingly appalling experience from the very beginning. The purchase process itself was the worst I have ever experienced by far with any product, let alone a car. The entire franchise is only interested in making a quick buck... I would strongly advise everyone to stay well away. The person who sold the car to me was sacked soon after, seemingly due to the catalogue of errors he made regularly and his overly aggressive sales pitching. After attempting to contact the dealership to resolve my issues, due to the lack of response, I decided to let it all go and move on as I could not be bothered to talk to such an incompetent, unhelpful team. I am still having issues 7 months after purchase and they are unwilling to ever contact me themselves to rectify any issues even after I have called and emailed them multiple times in an attempt to speak to the retail manager. They have sold certain products with the vehicle without informing me of hidden costs... I shouldn’t be surprised to be honest based on their overall severe lack of professionalism. I am unsure whether the owner of the company is aware of how bad the dealerships are but rest assured I shall soon find out if he is when I contact him. If he is just like the merry band of careless workers, I shall definitely proceed to take matters up with the higher authorities - small claims court, financial ombudsman. In summary - STAY WELL AWAY. Nightmare since first contact with them.

After searching high and low for the model of Tiguan that I wanted and could afford I eventually found a 17 plate R Line Tiguan for Sale at Parkway. Drove down to test drive and bought the car. 1 week later picked it up all good, upon buying the car I was told that the spare key was missing and would be posted to me on the Monday morning. Drove off happy as I had just got my new car. 5o miles later the car broke down on my way home, had to be trailered back to Parkway in Leicester where I was given a courtesy car while they inspected the car. 9 days later the car was fixed and told would be delivered to me straight away, car was eventually delivered on day 15 still minus the key and now the reverse camera did not work. Reported this immediately and was told it would be sorted out on the Monday. Monday comes and no phone call to resolve anything, phoned up to be told was being dealt with by the sales manager. A few days later I was going on my Holiday driving around the country so I thought ok will sort it when I have had my Holiday as I have now phoned Parkway on at least 15 occasions with very limited response from anyone. 2 days into my Holiday the car brakes down yet again now this is a car with only 24k on the clock, car had to be trailered away again and I am put in a very small courtesy car that would hardly fit our luggage into so decided to end our holiday there. Car is towed back to my nearest main dealer 150 miles from where it broke down a day later. At this point I told the garage that the car was being returned back to them as I have now only owned the car for 9 days out of 24 and have barely covered 250 miles in it. Was told to return log book and I would be refunded immediately which I did. 5 days later told I would be refunded now when the car gets back to Leicester which took a further week. Told that my money would be in my bank by Monday or Tuesday. On Tuesday no money still in my bank and then given another ridiculous excuse that they could not find my car on HPI report so I would have to wait again. This was eventually resolved 4 days later and I finally got my refund over 2.5 weeks later. From start to finish I have made over 50 phone calls to which I was phoned back once. I will never deal with this garage again in my life and would encourage all to stay away from them, this has put me off VW for life.

Service department and mechanics haven’t got a clue what they are doing trust me NEVER take your car to them! They are shambolic. Take your money and don’t care after seriously I’m not being a grumpy customer I genuinely mean this if you want a good service from a trust worthy garage don’t go there, they rip you off and haven’t got the slightest clue what they are doing. All they do is type symptoms into a computer and wait to see what it produces and they go through the list with know mechanical know how not do they use there skills(lack of) to diagnose its as if there Brian’s have been replaced with artificial intelligence. The service department team are useless as well. AVOID if you care about your pocket and you want a trust worthy place who knows there stuff.
