Travelled a great distance to view an S60 that was for sale at Nottingham Volvo and it was agreed both verbally and in writing that the bonnet and bumper would be resprayed due to stone chips. The salesman even stated the bumper would be removed in order that a proper job was done. When I went to collect the car the bumper had not been done and they were not prepared to do it. They said they hadn't agreed to this, when they had and my son was also a witness to this agreement. I pointed out the written agreement on the sales invoice and all they could suggest was that they give me my money back and I could walk away. So they were prepared to lose £13k over a £150 paint job. I was gutted that they were treating me like this and were acting like a back street garage, not a reputable Volvo dealership. I didn't walk away, I took the car as I liked it so much, but they totally ruined the occasion and the money I spent was everything I could afford and expected to be treated a lot better. The fact I had the agreement in writing should have been enough. I even offered to meet them halfway and take on some of the cost myself, but this was refused. Very unimpressed with Marshall Volvo of Nottingham. Extremely poor customer service, you ruined my day with your dishonesty and two fingered attitude.

I had a horrible experience all over with Marshall Nottingham Volvo, never again.

A terrible experience unfortunately. The car I had asked to test drive wasn't available and when I arrived at the dealership the service was poor. I was called 'love' almost immediately (come on, it's not the '70's!) and the test drive lasted 5 mins. When I returned I was asked to reverse to see 'whether I was any good'! I was told I would be sent some figures by email but they never came. I spoke to a friend who had bought a Volvo jointly with her husband; he got the keys, she got a pot plant. Wow. Audi by comparison were slick,courteous with a long test drive.
