I purchased a car from Motordepot in June, and my car has now been sitting on the forecourt of a mechanics for the last 6 weeks. They are quick to sell the car with faults but push you from pillar to post to have it resolved. And the warranty company they use Autoprotect are no better! I will be rejecting the car once investigations are complete after raising a complaint with the finance broker!

Had my car 2 days and already gone back because of electrical faults, had problem with the car before it was delivered, told not to drive it as it was a handbrake fault, bloke turned left a little courtesy car and drove off in mine, so uses my fuel and adds more miles, really not a good start having serious issues with motor depot

After paying a deposit and waiting a month for them to move a car to another site which still had not been done I finally gave up and cancelled the order. It's now a month since cancelling and I still can not get them to refund my deposit. Doesn't matter if you speak to the branch or head office they never return calls or email. Absolute joke of a company AVOID AVOID AVOID Also found the exact same car £3000 cheaper direct from a Mazda dealership

After what was a positive start have been really disappointed with there follow up service. Having paid for the on the road package to ensure no issues went home to find the clips holding on wheel arch trim were broken ,took it back to the dealer who told me to take it to a Halfords who would deal with it.Subsequently find Halfords have frozen account with Motordepot for non payment of account.Then told to take it to Vauxhall to get a quote pay for repair and they would reimburse cost only to be told by customer service they couldn’t trace the sale told to ring the dealer ,who put me On hold after I explain situation ,hang up .Is a shame they let them selves down .where as I would initially have had no hesitation recommending them would struggle to do so now

Not great place to buy a used car lots of hassle.

Definitely can recommend Motor Depot Hessle if you are in the market for a top quality used car. Non pressurized sales environment. Was not rushed into making a decision. There is also the peace of mind knowing that you are not buying a damaged/repaired car. Top class company with knowledgeable staff and a great customer service.

Got a car from them, have had it for 2 years now and it has failed both mots. First fail was due to having the spare tyre that was already in the car, as i had a flat tyre. Apparently it can fail for that so all they needed to do for it to pass was change the repaired original tyre back on! I had a coolant leakage at one point, needed a whole new coolant, luckily that was on warranty. And then my engine light started coming on and off, they replaced something within the car but the engine light came back on. This is the cause of the second failed mot, so now they’ve replaced something else! Which isn’t under warranty so I’m having to pay for this part! I am not looking to pay off this car and go get a new one, how can a car have so many problems for two years!?

Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. As soon as they get your money that’s all they car about. We dealt with someone called David who was about us much use as a chocolate teapot. We’d phone with a question, he’d tell us he would call us back the following day. When we haven’t heard from him we call them to be told it’s his day off. He called us on the Monday to tell us the car was being valeted the following day, collected Wednesday and delivered Thursday and when it’s collected Wednesday he would call us. So again when we didn’t hear from him on Wednesday we called them to he told the car wasn’t being collected until Thursday and delivered on Friday. The guy who delivered the car was fantastic and really helpful but the team at motordepot not so much. Had no idea what to do about the hand over. Their definition of valeted and mine are clearly different as it still had crumbs in the glove compartment and a snotty tissue in the pouch behind the passengers seat. We paid £50 to have it valeted ourselfs. It also didn’t come with a 12 month mot - only 8 months yet that was not listed in the description at all! Gave feedback on the form they sent out, expressed our disappointment and yet had no response. All we have had is a phone call today from a sales manager called Steve saying we have an outstanding debt to pay for the rest of the deposit. A deposit they haven’t asked for since the car was delivered on the 17th. Extremely rude. Didn’t give a hoot about our issues and had the audacity to tell us that it was our responsibility to check the MOT on Vosa and that we need to pay the ‘debt’ of £100 even if we had to borrow it. Terrible service and would never recommended at all. A complete s***show from start to finish
