The buying side of things was spot on, they were transparent and got me sorted out. I'm still waiting on the paperwork pack such as V5, service book and spare key though. The car is spot on I can't fault it at all.

I've done quite a few miles in the car so far - it's very good with petrol and I'm loving it. All of the staff were really nice, helpful and laid back - no pressure to buy either and I'd 100% recommend them to anyone.

We dealt with Aidan who was really friendly and accommodating. There was an issue with the car though so they gave us a courtesy car and then got the car fixed in about a week. The initial customer service was great, it's just the issues with the car which has knocked the score down.

I wanted a Mini Clubman and found this one at MotorTrust so decided to travel a 300+ mile round trip to get it, and I'm glad we did. We wanted to bring it back the same day which they were able to arrange which was great. I dealt with Ben on the day who was brilliant. It was a very good experience and we will buy from them in the future if needed.

I originally wanted a different car to the one I have now. However, there were some issues with it and I was advised not to take it. Aiden was really helpful. He went through all the other options with me and helped pick out the best car for my needs. I am pleased with the one I chose and thankful for Aiden's help. I came back a week later to pick up the vehicle and it was all prepared and valeted for me when I arrived. Overall, it has been a good experience.

I recently purchased a VW Tiguan from Motortrust Lancaster, and overall the service was fine. The were a few issues, such as they valet didn't clean under the seats, and from the time I first visited to collection, the washer fluid cap was broken. Since driving away the vehicle developed a gearbox fault but this isn't something Motortrust would have been able to foresee. To their credit, when I reported we had a conversation about what my options were, with either it coming to them or going through the warranty.

I’m really happy with the car itself, it’s a good vehicle and drives well. That being said, the whole buying experience wasn’t great. The adverts around the warranty felt a bit misleading, and when I first viewed the car it had 75,000 miles on it, but by the time I came to collect it two weeks later, there were about 1,400 extra miles on the clock. That was really disappointing, as it felt like the car had been used after I’d already purchased it. Collecting the car was also frustrating. I ended up waiting around three hours because it hadn’t been prepped, which I would have been fine with if I’d just been told upfront. Then, when the car was almost ready, I was told someone was just going to put fuel in and would be back in five minutes, but it took another hour before I actually got the car. Overall, I do like the car, but the lack of communication and customer service made the process stressful. A bit more honesty and organisation would have made the experience so much better.
