I have read a number of negative reviews but my experience with Parks's at East Kilbride was exceptional when buying a 'new ' car. I was looking on line using search engines for a new Hybrid or Electric car,( ASAP). Everyone had no stock . Stephen Brown replied to say unfortunately (like most dealers) they had no stock in Electric? Hybrid and there was a 4 month wait, as we chatted I said reluctantly I would take a petrol but really wanted an electric/ Hybrid. a few minutes later he phoned back to say after a chat with his sales manager they could sell me a showroom demonstrator. turned out to be an excellent price and low mileage and 5 days later I had the car. Stephen and his sales manager were exceptionally helpful and on the collection they could not have been more helpful , Stephen took a lot of time to demonstrate the features of the car, link up my phone to the apps, ensured I was connected the bluetooth to to Citroen services etc . He had previously sorted out introductions to firms that installed home chargers, and the app for the Govt approved govt and commercial charging stations. So all told I would rate this as a five star service compared to the other dealerships I had contacted.

Booked car in to Parks Peugeot, East Kilbride on Monday 2nd August for ‘fixed price’ battery replacement £109. Note that I did not ask for a battery condition check. Dropped car off at Parks E/K at 10:30am. 3pm – Received call stating that yes the battery did need replaced, which I already knew, and the cost, including VAT would be £197. I stated that the agreement was £109 for fixed price battery replacement. After a few minutes waiting, I was told that, yes, the £109 was correct. I asked if my car was being worked on and was told that, after checking with workshop, I would receive a call back shortly. No return call. 3:45pm – Phoned Parks to enquire when car would be ready. After getting passed from one extension to another, taking 10 to 15 minutes, I was informed that the battery had been ordered and Parks were awaiting delivery and that fitting would take approximately 30 minutes. I asked if it would be same day. Reply was . . Yes, if not I would be contacted before closing. No contact received. 3rd August - Phoned Parks 10:15 to enquire situation regarding return of car. Waited as extension rang out. Receptionist took details and told me I would receive a call back. No call back after waiting nearly 1 hour and 30 mins. Phoned Parks again at 11:40. Resulted in being told that car was ready for collection on the afternoon of 2nd August and that he thought he had phoned me. He apologised. PARKS MAJOR PROBLEMS: Communication with customer is verging on terrible. Personnel have a problem keeping customer up to date with delays etc. Rarely receive a call back. Customer has to do the running. Receptionists have a problem getting information from manufacturer desk personnel. Often phones are not answered while customer is kept waiting on the line. I had a similar problem with Parks a couple of years ago and am disappointed in the fact that, in my opinion, nothing has changed. Also noticed when I got home that the dashcam USB had been disconnected before the car had even been moved from parking bay to workshop to commence work . . strange that!

Car went in under warranty to fix oil leak came back with hoist blocks embedded in the broken chassis panels oil leak not fixed worst experience ever no confidence in the car afraid to drive it had it assessed at an independent garage they were horrified at the dangerous condition it was returned in
Bought a citroen and foolishly assumed they'd MOT is before i got it, dispite the paperwork from the garage, mot valid till june 2021, i discovered when i tried to tax the car in may 2021 that they had never mot'd the car and it had in fact expired in august 2020. They tried to fob me off with 2 free mots and 2 services. Doesnt even start to cover the cost of an invalid insurance, and the fact i could have been stopped and fined by police. The service dept is a joke, they have made a boo boo of 3 folks mots etc from the same family, how many other folks car have they not mot'd etc. Will b going elsewhere for my next car. Ratings below are for service dept, not sales dept who are superb
Nicola dealt with us throughout the transaction and was an excellent example of how it should be done. Professional, prompt and knowledgeable about the car, terms and delivery. The mobility service can be confusing and a bit overwhelming for some but Nicola made it easy. Once again thank you Nicola you made a stressful situation much easier.

i took car to them because of battery kept draining not long after having its first service wih them,they had car for a week trying to find out what the problem was.finally after having to go back on 3 occasions with same problem they said it was the battery,they said they changed battery and it was all good, i went out to find my car in there joke of a car park only to find it was jammed up against a wall that a small child coudnt get in or out of,on further inspection of car both my doors paintwork had been damaged,i returned to reception and the manager came out to climb through passenger door to get car out of the car park,he apologised for the parking and the damage an said they would fix it,so i once again had to take car back to them when there painting department was available,4 days later i went to pick up car an was about to drive away one of the doors caught my eye the paint work was a mess,the reception girl went to see there painting dept who said it needed buffed and blending (some painters jargon) it was the light in there work shop was the reason they didnt notice it was there reason for such a shoddy job,finally i got car back and to be honest it wasnt great work but i was so fed up with them i just accepted it,3 months went bye when i started having battery problems again so itook it to my local garage run by a friend of mine who took car to a auto electrician who said it was the battery that was at fault and it want new..my friend replaced battery which cost i paid for at a good price and 6 months later iv had no problems,of course parks denied that the battery was not new so either the machanics are helping themself to parts from customers cars or they are lying,so the next time the service was due which is part of the 5yr sevice plan i took it to parks hamilton only to find on getting car back that the windshield washer cap was missing,but as only noticed this a month later when i went to fill it up i coudnt prove it was there fault,next service my local garage can do it so stick the 5yr plan

Bought a car from Parks in East Kilbride some considerable time ago. They text regularly. Sent STOP message. Cost me £0.25. Not the money, it's the principle. Spent over 9k on the car (,which had been great), but he'll will freeze over before I deal with them again.
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD. You may see the car you have just bought all nice shining on the forecourt at Parks East Kilbride. BUT my advice to you check the mileage is correct, the service book is the right book for your car and any damage and if you have been told your car would be serviced check to see that it has been done. I made the mistake of not doing this , don`t believe all you are told CHECK IT OUT. JIM IRVINE
