I’ve always been a fan of BMW M3s, but when I spotted the M4 at Phantom Motor Company with just 20,000 miles on the clock, I couldn’t resist. From the moment I arrived at the dealership, I was impressed by their incredible selection of cars and appreciated being able to check out the car without any pressure. Since I couldn’t sort out insurance on the day, they arranged delivery for me, and it arrived on time and in excellent condition. My new toy has been amazing, and I can’t wait for the snow to clear so I can properly enjoy it!

My new Mercedes E-Class is everything I have been looking for; I absolutely love it. After my husband had a C class a few years ago, I fell in love with the interior and how smooth it drove, so when I saw one on Autotrader, I knew I had to go and see it in person. As I reside in NI, I researched an 'alleged' reputable company to purchase a vehicle from in Oct 24. Choosing to ignore the negative comments as thought there will always be some people unhappy I proceeded with Phantom as they ranked highly (with the benefit of high sight I don't know how!) Within days (mid Nov) of ownership a coolant leak issue arose. Phantom suggested a diagnostic report to confirm extent of issue. I advised, in advance, the garage I would get this completed by and it was booked in for early Dec 24. The paperwork I received from the garage confirmed a coolant leak, however, and more importantly, it also stated that "Somebody has cleaned brake discs with grinder. "Recommended new brake discs and pads. Poor workmanship", and, "the structure of the brake disc has been destroyed". Therefore Urgent action required!! This is despite an alleged 147 point check completed by Phantom and a passed MOT (both completed within days of eachother in mid-Oct 24). Quite remarkable really!!!!!!! The delay 'tactics' from Phantom have been ongoing ever since with no repairs or resolution to the issues as of 6th Jan 2024). First, Phantom stated that they don't accept diagnostic from a main dealer as they weren't one themselves. I clarified it wasn't completed by a main dealer. Next the parts and labour breakdown needed to list every individual part and time taken to install same. Next - wanted an alternative diagnostic check completed by a one man band independent garage (despite already having this from a highly reputable garage), for which they wanted me to arrange vehicle drop off/collection and no courtesy car in between times. Alteratively, Phantom wanted me to arrange for the vehicle be delivered back to UK at my expense (I reside in NI), again with no courtesy vehicle. I requested that Phantom reply in writing as their model is to call back in response to emails when they do that is (take from that what you wish)!!! Their non committal generic responses can be easily seen through for what they really are, absolutely nothing! Growing frustrated by their actions I requested a full refund, which to date has been completely ignored!! Backed into a corner, I will now have to get the repairs completed myself and go through legal route / through the courts as Phantom continue to deny me my legal rights In summary, Phantom sold me a vehicle that: *is unsafe / dangerous *is not of satisfactory quality *not as described Notwithstanding the above, Phantom has failed to resolve this issue to my satisfaction within a reasonable time and in doing so has and continues to cause me and my family significant inconvenience, in that we continue to be without a road worthy vehicle, including over the Christmas period. To date Phantom has offered absolutely nothing to diminish this inconvenience. This is extremely frustrating and shocking customer service! Avoid at all costs!
