We vowed some cars with Allan’s advice and guidance. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient, especially as we were walking around looking at cars from one side of the lot to the other and in the rain. He did not rush or pressurise us. He was refreshingly honest and left us feeling confident and that we had been treated with brilliant service and that he was trustworthy. Would recommend Allan 100% and would definitely return.

Disgusting customer service from the sales team at the kettering branch. Standing around waiting to purchase a vehicle in the show room for over 30 minutes. Not one person acknowledged us, not even " we know your waiting sir, will be with you as soon as we can" it was as if we didn't exist.

I'd really hoped to be able to write a more positive review but my experience with PCS Derby has been nothing short of abysmal and I am regrettably now pursuing a claim through the Small Claims Court against them. The vehicle, a 2021 Nissan Qashqai with a mere 25,400 miles on the clock, was sold to me with a failing clutch. It is unfathomable that a major problem of this nature wouldn't have been picked up in their own "comprehensive multipoint inspection" prior to the vehicle being placed on the market. Both Halfords and a local garage identified "excessive judder" within days of the purchase. After a lengthy and deeply unpleasant negotiation with Aftercare, where I offered to personally contribute around half of the repair bill, PCS Derby then reneged on the agreement the week of the repair, backtracking on their agreed contribution and saying they wouldn't pay for a crucial part (the flywheel) that our garage strongly recommended replacing and that would void the warranty of the repair if not installed as part of the clutch assembly. It is now for me to find almost £1,000 to pay just for the clutch, having only had the car for 3 weeks. Never mind the battery that needed replacing immediately (£226) and the windscreen too. After I'd travelled 4 hours to Derby by train to purchase the vehicle, I discovered the "chip" that I had been told was no bigger than "a 5p coin" was in fact a sizeable crack and, as it turns out, requires a whole new windscreen at a cost of £1,138 (without insurance). The £95 deduction from the sales price, after much negotiating, hardly compensates. Their friendly tone on social media and on the sales floor quickly evaporates when dealing with aftercare issues. Bizarrely, they were most offended when I accused them of being less than upfront in initial conversations and then, without a hint of irony, went on to renege on the agreement of a fair contribution towards the clutch, leaving me to shoulder three quarters of the expensive repair bill. It beggars belief! Finally, it is worth noting that their "warranty" is, well, just take a look at it... as it contracts out of just about everything that could possibly go wrong with a vehicle. Thank heavens for the Consumer Rights Act and the Small Claims Court. But, seriously, do yourself a huge favour and just avoid PCS Derby completely.

Hello Justin, When you first contacted Aftersales to say your clutch had a judder, I tried to book your car into our workshop to have the issue investigated and resolved. This would have been solved under the return to base warranty you have with your car, however you refused to return the car to us. You had been happy to travel to us for the great-value car, but then said the distance was too far to return for a repair. Yet, you continued to drive the car for almost a month and 220 miles AFTER the estimate from Halfords saying the clutch had excessive juddering. You could have returned to us, you just didn’t want to. You did have the option at the point of purchase to buy a nationwide extended warranty but refused and signed to say you understood any repair would be covered ‘back to base’ When a fault occurred you refused to return the vehicle thus refusing to give us the opportunity to investigate the issue. After numerous length emails I agreed to cover the failed parts only and a contribution towards the labour at a local garage. I spoke to the mechanic who explained the clutch needed to be replaced, but the flywheel didn’t, although it was their policy to do both at the same time. No warranty would cover the cost of recommended repairs only parts that have failed. You choose to have the flywheel replaced and are now taking us to court to cover this cost. We refunded the clutch and the agreed labour.
Raj was really helpful going through everything we needed to know. Was told the car had the usually checks, it’s been back twice for repairs, replacement items and for the 3rd time at a garage nearer home and now needs a new turbo !! What a total nightmare

strange garage , we currently own BMW i3 , and still wanted to keep with electric, PCS had large selection , we decided on 208e, id3, or another i3 , PCS had all three , similar prices , and mileage. So we asked for test drives to dicide which one suited us most. The salesperson said we could only drive one , so suggested we have a think about which one then test drive. extremely strange, my wife have mobility issues and needs the right seating position to drive comfortably . needless to say we drove 3 miles further on to another dealer and drove all cars and purchased an id3 , maybe PCS should be more flexible
