I was talked into placing £100 pounds to hold the a car. I did not sign any documents and was told by the salesperson, that my deposit would be refundable immediately at any time. I decided that the car was not for any more which is my consumer right, and the sales manager, stated that we cannot have the deposit back as they have taken the car off the website, auto-trader etc. When checking, this was not the case. Perfectly nice when your willing to buy, quite nasty when you don't.
The car was a very good price so made the purchase fast. Not had to take it back with any issues yet so think i'm onto a winner!

1 � and that’s being generous, I bought a 56plate scenic I got it home and I had a service light on and the airbag light on, managed to sort the radio out but the car is clocked in KM, so rang and asked them to sort it which they did, I took it back to them and explained what was up and they tried to give me my PX car as a curtesy car which I refused the reason being it would have cost me too much to fuel, they also wanted me to sign to say if anyone went in to me or me in to them it would have cost me a fortune. So I said it would be cheaper to sort it myself, I have been to 2 different garages to be told it is uneconomical to repair, I have since contacted them and nearly a week in I’m still waiting for a call back. I have been in contact with citizens advice who have informed trading Standards about them. And to see they have a FB page about them, they should be ashamed of themselves.
We needed a more practical car that fitted our life more. Came across the Car at Prestige on Autotrader. It was clean and in good enough shape. Not had to return with any issues. Good.
