DO NOT BUY FROM QUARRY GARAGE! I’ve had lots of (serious and dangerous) problems with a car I unfortunately bought from them. I have spent over £1000 on it in less than a year, and it’s still not right. I have tried to contact them a number of times to try and resolve the issues but if they redone they’re very. Please stay well away. They had a good reputation but they’re using that to hide what they’re really like now!

Bought a car from this place in October 2017 with a fresh MOT that had nothing on it but yet I have spent nearly £900 on this car fixing stuff that shouldnt need it. When you spend £4000 on a car you dont expect to have to pay that kind of money to be fixing problems so soon. Also not long after I bought this car I broke down and the garage come out to find a problem with the battery. I was told it was a new one and just been told today it was a second hand one. Not impressed

wheel nuts not even tightened, alloys badly damaged, would not recommend at all.

Called to Inquire about a car a friend told me of, on initially answering the call I asked about the said vehicle to be told its a part ex'er and they didn't particularly want rid of it, despite this I inquired further to which the person on the phone didn't seem interested in answering my questions of "can you tell me more about this car", lastly I was told you can come look at it if you want but its going to auction tomorrow. i responded with, its OK I get the impression you don't wish to sell me this car. the response i got was, No, don't ever call us again. I am still in shock at the level of disrespect from the sales person.

Never buy a car from Quarry Garage, it was the worst mistake of my life. Problem after problem and the staff have a terrible attitude as soon as there is a problem, happy when take money. They are the worst people to buy off.

If you are thinking about purchasing a used car at some point in the (near) future, DO NOT go there. My daughter bought her car there last year and she's not had much fun with it. First of, she had to wait more than a week before she could pick it up (we'll make it nice and shiny for you...) - Then, when she picked it up, it was literally running on fumes (I sent an email to Quarry about that and was obviously not worthy a reply) - Several months later, there was a first problem with the gear box. Quarry apparently "rectified this" at quite a cost (even though she had taken out a costly extended warranty policy) - The car is now at another garage and there are (again!) problems with the gear box and also the clutch. Conclusion: Quarry never did a proper 'Multi point check'... They just did the bare minimum to get this car off their fore court and cash in... Customer service is non-existent (as they can't be bothered to reply to any queries) and their Repair/Servicing team is obviously not doing a good job either. You've been warned!

I have nothing else but praise for quarry garage and all of its staff from sales to garage mechanics. I have had 4 or 5 cars from them. I would recommend Quarry Garage to anyone

I have bought several cars from Quarry Garage in Huddersfield over a period of 20+ years and have had most of them maintained and repaired with them also. I have not had any problems which have remained unresolved. I have always found them to be honest, trustworthy, helpful, all qualities that I want from my garage when buying a car. I don't pretend they are perfect, but they are I think as near as can be for a car garage.
