Bought a 4x4 August 2018 broke down 3 days later, had it serviced new battery, broke down again, garage said injectors blocked, advised taking out and fuel pump and replace or refurbish, advised RD Motors they did not want to know. Has cost me £1500 since then alternator needed replacing £300 more !!!

I was warned not to buy a car from RD Motors but I really liked the car I fount there. I even read all the bad reviews and just thought oh well guess they're just unhappy customers, Im sure I'll be ok.. WRONG! Its cost me over a thousand pounds to put right so far and they have no interest what so ever, even though my car is not even a month old. I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO BUY FROM 'RD MOTORS HORNCHURCH' AND TAKE NOTICE OF THE REVIEW SYSTEM, ITS HERE FOR GOOD REASON..

Do not buy from RD Motors in Hornchurch- bought a Qashquai 9months ago when found out my wife was pregnant- door starts cracking after 6months. Find out it’s been in an accident and poorly repaired. Having to buy a new car now as worried about other damage- just called to explain- reply was “not my problem mate” no concern at all that he has sold a potentially dodgy car to an expecting mum now driving around our 5 week baby. Clearly they buy banged up cars cheap, that haven’t been reported as damaged, repair them good enough to sell, then claim no responsibility after 3months. Bought for £5k- spent £500 on service- been offer £2700 for part ex. Absolute scum bags

Avoid RD Motors like the plague, bought a 2010 Kia ceed, driving down the road and the wheel bearing whining like hell, when told he said I'd just broke it! Salesman got the car for me but didn't tell me central locking didn't work, when I informed him it wasn't advertised with broken c/l he said "but it has c/l just didn't work, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE. PLEASE READ OTHER REVIEWS LOADS AND L

Bought a car from RD Motors, within 2 weeks had issues with the car, my mechanic advised that these issues would have been present at the time of sale, when contacting the garage I was told ‘nothing I can do to help’. Avoid this place as once they have your money they don’t care, the quality of cars is questionable. AVOID

bought a car from them in December, in march the car without any warning broke down loss of power lots of smoke from the exhaust had to be recovered, been at an independent garage for over three months mechanic reckons the seller was aware of these problems at point of sale. still awaiting repair having to take it to main dealership of this make of car for further investigation so far the cost on it this far has been in excess of £1500 not sure what it will be once the main dealership completes its investigation and repairs. If you do take a chance get an independent inspection done on any car you buy from RD Motors.
