I have just bought an 04 StreetKa from SM Car Sales Lancaster. I am very happy with the car, SM put it through an MOT, and replaced bits that were only advisory. Overall very good experience.

Very happy with my new car,we went to sm car sales in Lancaster last Friday,to look at a Mondeo,and ended up with a Volvo, Anthony was very helpful,no pressure, a nice polite young man,we picked the car up yesterday [Monday],no problems.would deal with these guys again.Thanks Guys.

Disgusting after sales from SM Car Sales Lancaster, wasted so much of my time asked me to come over from Glasgow to Lancaster to get the car fixed and had no parts and nothing else ready and since then not answering phone calls for two weeks, if you still want to deal with this dealer make sure you take your car to independent garage before you commit to buy because I was told that the car was fully inspected and it hasn't been. I am taking this to trading standards. Don't look at the fake reviews on Facebook look elsewhere like here where it's all been checked

I bought a car from SM Car Sales Lancaster in March 2018. The car went into limp mode on the way home from the garage, the windows fogged up because the heating system wasn't working, the driver's window wouldn't open either. They brought my old car back and took it in for repairs. A week later, I agreed to meet them half way (I live 50 miles away) to collect the car but the car went in to limp mode again before they got to me so they took it back to their garage. It came back a week later and the clutch went. The car went back to the garage and they took months to fix it. I drove down to collect the car and the next day it broke down due to the diesel particulate filter. I spent 8 hrs waiting for AA to arrive with my young daughter in the car. The AA couldn't fix it and I had the car recovered back to the garage. I asked for my money back - they referred me to their legal team. The legal team say that the MOT proves the car was road-worthy so I can't have my money back (£4500+ expenses) and they plan on charging me for parking. The amount of time and money wasted is huge and it has all been very distressing. The fight goes on .......

The MOT doesn ot prove the vehicle is fit for purpose under the Consumer Protection Act. Rogue dealers need to be challenged, take out an online Money Collection Order (small claims court application) and get your money and costs back. You will win! Good luck

I called SM Car Sales Lancaster about the car I was interested in and the salesman was friendly and communication and service was extremely good! The dealership even delivered the car for me which was over 200 miles (5 hour drive) The Car was described well and when it got delivered I wasn't disappointed. Would definitely recommend this Dealership and would buy again in the future. Thanks SMC Car Sales for the great car and the fantastic service!

I bought this car November 2016, since I've bought it I've had no logbook and for ever told that it's on its way. I've rang the owner a few times and he informed me that dvla have sent it which they ain't and to top that off after being told the car is totally fine. I've had a waterpump go including cambelt an engine management light come on boost pipe problems and they refuse to answer my calls or messages don't buy from SM Car Sales in Lancaster unless you want to be messed about.
