Went to view a car earlier this month. Described online as excellent condition. When I arrived the car was in poor condition. Had several panels missing inside and out and several noted and obvious faults, this was all before even starting it. I fully understand its a second hand car but for 10k + and a description of excellent condition I was left very dissapointed. The advisories on tyres from most recent MOT were not carried out. After discussing with sales agent he said the list of faults could be rectified but the trust was gone. I would advise taking someone with you that has an idea about cars.

I bought my partner a car for his 50th birthday as a surprise, shenfield motor company went over and above on helping me get his dream car, they also delivered it to us on the morning of his special day and done a super extra valet on top which I didn’t expect, thank you Simon and the team he is thrilled to bits with his new baby

I bought a car from here several months ago now. I am still waiting for them to get a part for my car that was very clearly missing when I bought it. Every time I call, I get dismissed saying that they still haven’t found the part. However I have looked myself, and seen places that sell them. Just don’t feel it’s fair I have to pay, when we agreed they would get it as a part of buying the car. Awful service and would not recommend.

I booked an appointment for 12noon today (23/05/20) to view a Ford Mondeo I was very interested in. I arrived at 11.45 having driven just over an hour from my home. I spoke to a salesman on his forecourt and was informed that the car was sold! I did not even receive a courtesy call from them with that information and would have thought that because I had a pre-booked appointment, they would have held the car until I had the opportunity to view it. They could have told the buyer that someone is booked to view the car and if I decided not to buy it, they could have contacted them afterwards. All in all, this was a waste of my time and fuel and I feel this company acted VERY unprofessionally.

Just had car serviced at Shenfield Motor Company. Really good and very honest

We appeared to have been sold a good car by a decent salesman at Shenfield Motor Company, and that illusion continued for a couple of months. It transpired that we were actually sold a car which within normal operating parameters would require £2,000 worth of life cycle maintenance, in addition to routine servicing. Some one who knew the vehicle could (if he had wanted to) have told us that. This garage didn't, and the first warning came when filings from a decaying flywheel destroyed the starter motor. The salesman now has no interest in us and is hiding behind planned replacements the cycled of which we could not possibly have known. Be careful and do your research- you will get very little information of use from these people.

Just picked up a lovely Range Rover Evoque from Shenfield Motor Company. The finance went through while I waited and was able to take delivery of the car the same day as promised. Great service from Joe and his team. Look forward to see them when the car is due it’s next service.
