From start to finish the customer service was exceptional. The advert was detailed and accurate with 30+ photos of the car giving me confidence to do a 350mile round trip. Email and phone communication was very prompt and polite. Very accommodating for the test drive and vehicle walk around and appreciated our journey time. Open and honest discussion. Considering we bought a trade in the dealer knew more about the car than the main dealer we spoke to about a similar model. We visited during the Coronavirus pandemic and garage was well set up for social distancing and hygiene. Thank you for all your help, fully recommend this garage

found a car on their website, asked if was nice was assured it was clean. arrived today to view it...travelled over 100 miles to see it. it was as rough as they come. I was told there were no dents, the car was awful. The lady was lovely, but come on, you have to be genuine and honest....not fair to waste peoples time

Polite staff.Very attending. Give them a call that I'll be there to pick up my new car at 16:30,but I went and hour earlier and the car was ready and waiting for me. Keep with the good work guys. Definitely recommend
****AVOID THIS GARAGE*** Where do i even start! with South & West Motors. All i can say is for ANYONE looking at buying a car AVOID this garage they rob you of your money and sell you faulty cars!!! we bought a white Hyundai from them which was a dangerous on long journeys and will probably be back up for sale for some other poor person to buy!!! We paid money to the garage and some on finance...so we test drove the car and quickly noticed the breaks was soft which once pointed out they fixed before pickup so great start but once issues come about the breaks was chucked back in our face as if they did us a favour??? we then took the car home for 4days, we noticed the car was going into limp mode when warmed up so it had no power! This did not happen all the time just when driven for a longer period of time. as you can imagine motorways and dual carriageway was a hazard as it slowed down mid drive (we have 3 children to put in this car) also the cruise control wasnt working but we was willing to let that slide as the most important priority was getting the car safe for us as a family to drive! So the car was returned to them which they sent it to there garage giving us a 4seater courtesy car again even with a family of 5 we made do FOR 3 WEEKS Loosing a family holiday In the process. on our return they tried to bill us £100 for a bush scratch on the courtesy vehicle then agreed not to if we didnt pull up the fault with the cruise control and we made do with it not working along with a small payout £150 which was not paid to us after signing. we picked the Hyundai back up, where they told us it was throwing no fault code but they fixed something to do with the electrics,again we drove it home knowing the car wasnt going to go into limp mode as it needed a good warm up to do it so my husband took it on the motorway where after 30 minutes the car was doing it again.we didnt want to nag and hated having to keeping ringing this is how they made us feel! the owner spoke to my husband disrespectful and slammed the phone down on him. My husband recored the fault to try and help the garage fix this. videos was sent and the lady acknowledged the fault. again putting us out of a car as this time they wasnt going to give us a car while it was at the garage being “fixed” by now we have had the car 13-14days during this time the hot weather kicked in and we also released the aircon was not working so we got this gassed ourself (£65) even though we had a warranty just so that we was not moaning to them as we was made to feel like we was annoying them, we was told after the gassing the fans was not working and it needed to be plugged in at a garage as he thinks there was a electrical fault so we wasted our money doing that because it was still blowing out hot air, by this point we spoke to our finance company rather then the garage who then raised a complaint on the grounds of consumer rights act, advice given to us by citizens advice. the garage no longer wanted to fix the issue but wanted to squash the finance and have the car returned which was fine with us untill we were told there would be fees!! We were being told we did 564 miles and would take of 200 miles this was charged at £1.50 per mile (£564) so watch that Small print!! We did not see how we could do this many miles in less then 2weeks! while my husband has a work van and i do school runs in my area and other small journeys but wecould not prove they were driving the car during the 3weeks that it was in there possession. we were also charged £148 for admin fees even though they didnt want to carry out any repairs to the car, And wanted the contract ended?? So to sum it up we lost £713!!! From our own money and we have no car! The place is a nightmare and make u feel like your annoying them if any problems arise with their vehicles, they have lied about acknowledging the fault even though i have the messages! .....You do not expect to be out of pocket with no car and a credit rating to be affected after spending alot of money with a garage in good faith. My advice is to stay well clear and if you have bought from them take pictures of your miles and keep all paperwork needed to hand as you too will be out of pocket if theres any issues... as now seen on other bad reviews they do not take responsibility and blame everything and everybody else for there poor service

Dear Kelly We apologise that you have been left feeling so strongly with regards to our handling of your complaint. In the end, a senior representative for the Finance company who owns the vehicle on your behalf advised us to complete a return of the vehicle. They believed this to be most fair and reasonable action to take. This view was not taken lightly and was only pursued in conclusion because of the events which preceded it - the day we had the vehicle in the Garage to fix, your partner called to demand the return of the vehicle and we received a formal complaint from him via the Finance Lender. He called after the weekend to retrieve the car, he retracted the formal Complaint from the Finance company and then requested a fix again. I have reviewed the recorded calls so can confirm these events. Your Partner was lent a Courtesy vehicle (which a Dealership is not obliged to give). He called and complained quite vigorously because it was too small. He was aggressive and aimed expletives at our staff. The Courtesy vehicle was later returned to us with significant damage sustained to the length of 2 doors. We did not charge you for the body repair on the Courtesy car (which actually costs approximately £200 per door). You were only charged on this occasion because you were offered to either return or repair - you chose to repair then demanded return, then repair again and finally return. We were struggling to meet your expectations and the Finance Company along with Trading Standards believed that dissolving the deal was the best way forward. All fees were deemed to be fair and reasonable when discussed with both (the Finance company would have blocked the return if they disagreed with this due to them being the owners of it). We completely appreciate your frustrations but felt that we were never going to be able to achieve what you expected. We wish you all the best and hope you find the vehicle you are looking for.
Very helpful and kind staff at South and West Motors. No pressure to buy a car. However described condition was not quite as I was expecting, however it might be rather my issue. Definitely will check their stock with my next car purchase
