Bought a car from Spirit Motor Company Ltd in July 23, honestly the best company I've dealt with in years!!Car is superb,all work needed was done in a timely manner!! I've since done a tour of the Scottish Highlands with the car and it never missed a beat!! Incidentally the day after I bought the car I got a nearside rear puncture and they turned out and changed the wheel for me, how's that for service!!??!! A great company with great people!! A big thank you to all the staff at Lakefield Car Showroom, for the great service you provided.

Bought a car from here and my GOD!!!! when purchased there was no MOT however was told they would complete it and any work it potentially may have needed!!! Since day of purchase I had the car 4 days and 4 months later started asking for my refund!!! Because they still had my car I purchased apparently fixing numerous issues it had!! I got nothing but abuse! Shouting down the phone and being refused my refund. The staff are rude! They sell dead cars and I would highly recommend everybody steer well clear from this company!

We purchased this car at the beginning of May 2023 from Spirit Moror Company Leigh ,,Bolton , Yorkshire and are disgusted with the garage, in particular the owner Mr Sadiq who is refusing to give us our money back. Endless issues from day 1 from requiring new brakes and tyres to needing a complete re spray. We purchased this car under Distant Selling regs but Mr Sadiq is still refusing to refund us. Please give this garage a wide berth as they are nothing but trouble.

Please pursue these people and get your money back. Go online and file a Court Claim (small claims court). Keep a record of everything! Record all telephone conversations as proof to back-up your case. Otherwise, it's your word against theirs. And they will lie! You are entitled to a full refund through the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for used and new cars. The vehicle was not fit for purpose. It was not as described in the advert. You were not made aware of the faults. Also, contact Citizens Advice who will supply you with letter templates which need to be sent to Spirit Motor Company, prior to going down the legal route. Keep a detailed record e.g., dates, person you spoke to or wrote to (letters/emails), details of event on that date. If they are nasty, threatening and abusive...keep a record of what is said. You need details if you go to Court. The more information you have to hand in Court the better. It's stressful and nerve racking on the day so it's a good reference for you. Good luck!

My partner bought a car from spirit motor company and he is very particular! I saw a Range Rover Evoque whilst dropping him at the dealership and I have also bought a car from them. Both Gary and Lindsay have been brilliant and I cannot recommend them enough. Brilliant service and both me and my partner are over the moon with our vehicles. I wish Lindsay and Gary a lovely day on their wedding day! Keep up the excellent work

Part exchange my Citroen C4 for a BMW 1 Series from these guys. My car had no problem. None at all. The Bmw looked really nice outside. But wasn't serviced since 2017. The driver seat had tears in it although they said they fixed it. It rained heavily two days in buying the car, behind the drivers seat had a puddle of water, at least half inch of water above the carpet. When i rang the company Lyndsay and Gary's attitude stinks and threatened to hang up the phone on me. The i had to pay £240 to service the car after purchasing it just a week. These guys sells faulty vehicles they dont make an effort to check the vehicles they are selling people. Avoid buying from them if you can!!!!

Bought a car during the Christmas period took 3 weeks to prep the vehicle (no communication during prep) collected the car end of jan was with a flat tyre yeah the salesman put air in and off we went couple days go by the wheel they had got “repaired” needed re welding which has cost me overall £135 to get sorted, car drives perfect dont get me wrong love it, come to the garage today to get the vehicle inspected the car is knocking from back end only to find out that the rear anti roll bar has failed over the case of 3/4 weeks of having the car tried communicating with the salesman nothing at all can 100% say i will NOT be recommending this dealer and will NOT be returning in the future absolute joke, over the last 3 weeks ive spent around £600 on this car which they told me it was “perfect” and “nothing wrong” with and when you try and contact the salesman who said any problems give me a text or call, you get no reply, annoyed isnt the word will not be buying again

Bought a car from them during the Christmas period, the car was faulty and still sold to me without telling me. I made the complaint about the car and no form of communication from the garage. Poor customer service and lack of communication. The owner shouting at the customer over the phone, at some point hung up on me. I’ll advise any car bought from this dealer is at your our detriment.

I'd personally avoid this car dealership based on my experience with them. I recently enquired about 2 cars that they had for sale on Auto Trader. They were priced up at £4,495 and £2,500 respectively which given their age and mileage were reasonable prices. I enquired via email and got 2 responses from Alistair and Andy confirming that the cars were indeed still available and that they would look forward to 'selling me a car'. All good so far. However the night before we were meant to be viewing the cars I took a quick look on AT to get a few details to check, MOT history etc. Both cars had been removed. No issue I thought at first, maybe they have taken them down as I have taken an interest. However when I checked their own website I found both cars priced up 20% higher than when I enquired. The new prices were £5575 and £3100. Now I don't know if they had been increased to try and fool me that I had the prices wrong initially but when you enquire via AT the email you receive shows the price of the cars you ask about (see pictures). I then emailed them back asking if the cars had been sold and whether it was worth making the 40 mile round trip or whether they had indeed inflated the prices dramatically from their previous prices 2 days earlier. Surprisingly their response hasn't yet been received. Please make sure when purchasing from anywhere that you read reviews from a variety of sources. It really annoys me and probably others how more and more car dealers out there put up a facade pretending to be friendly and show an interest in providing customer service yet when it comes to it, they just seem to want to screw over the customers. Definitely a shark pool, hopefully others will be wary when dealing with these particular 'salesmen'.

The showroom was taken up by new management, I bought a car here a a while ago now that I returned the staff have changed. great customer service. The deal was very smooth not pushy and let all my needs.

bought a 2015 Mini Cooper from here, within 3 weeks the engineer management light came on, i was asked to go to the dealership by Wayne, for the mechanic to remove the engine management light and said its normal for the light to come on..shockingly it came back on, i phoned the garage back to tell me i need to speak to the warranty company - i spoke to the owner Mohammed on the 26.5.22 who advised he was going to contact his BMW specialist Brabbs, Leigh - received NOTHING from Mohammed, i sent 2 further emails still no response.. i finally received a response on 15.6.22 after ANOTHER email - TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION, IRATE OWNER. No Resolution from dealership - going off other reviews seems this happens an awful lot!
