Last year I wanted to change my 110 to a 90. Not only did the guys offer me a great price for my 110, they found me an amazing classic 1998 90 300tdi in absolute mint condition. With any car that is 23 years old, since buying it I’ve had a couple of small issues, but the guys were quick to take care of them for me. I have been wanting a Defender for over 20 years and finally decided that now was the time. Bob had a lovely 2016 County 90 in Keswick green which is the only colour I was looking for. From the initial phone call, Bob was very helpful and invited me to come and test-drive the car. A warm welcome awaited me when I visited them in Essex and we went for a test-drive, after which I decided that I wanted to purchase the car. I wanted to give the Defender a Heritage look and Bob offered to have the roof painted in limestone, the wheels painted green and a Heritage grille fitted along with some side-steps. Nothing was a problem for him and all the work was done within a week. Terry delivered the car to me on a Friday morning and the car was immaculate. The work that had been done was to the highest standard. What really makes these 2 gentlemen stand out for me is their honesty, their helpfulness and nothing is too much trouble for them. This is the difference you get buying from a family set-up rather than a dealer who pressures a buyer and just wants to do the deal as quickly as possible. I intend on taking the car back to them next year to have the seats re-trimmed in the Heritage upholstery and perhaps to make some more modifications, all of which they can undertake. I would not hesitate to recommend Bob and Terry if you are looking to buy a Defender. It really was a wonderful and fun experience buying my dream car from them!
