Hi Poppie, Thanks for those kind words which I will pass onto Scott. It is too easy nowadays for anyone to write what they like whether truthful or not which can have a profound affect on small business so it is nice to get a good review if only to try an get a balanced view for customers. As you mentioned it may well have put you off and I am so glad it did not. I am fair and always try to do the right thing yet unfortunately clearly it is impossible to keep everyone happy. I wish more people would take the time to let people know of the good experiences they have had, like you have done. Thank you.

Ali, What a complete fabrication of the truth. We called you on Friday to let you know the car would not be ready that day and you told my colleague you had just woken up ( due to Ramadan) and would call him back. You then turned up on Monday unexpected to collect the car and it was explained the car was not ready yet. You then lost the rag and demanded your money back and none of us present understand why. I tried to talk to you but you were not for listening. I was trying to ascertain why having the car ready in the next few days was not suitable for you. It was then YOU who started threatening me in front of witnesses and caught on CCTV. As I said yesterday I apologise the car is not quite ready yet and would be another few days due to the workshops finding something unexpected and parts on order. You were asked to leave the premises because neither I or any of my staff deserve to be intimidated or threatened while at our place of work. Due to the nature of your threats the incident has been recorded and stored on disc and ready to pass to the police if deemed necessary.

Dear Gerry, We carry out due diligence checks before the sale of every vehicle, if the vehicle had previously been subject to radweld then this is something that unfortunately would not have been picked up on. However, we feel your comments are wholly unfair. We would like to highlight that you had a repair carried out on the vehicle without any authorisation from ourselves which was also subject to additional work such as the water pump and thermostat which was completely unnecessary but expected ourselves to pay for this. However, despite the invoice dispaying additional work we still had no hesitation paying for the radiator to be replaced. Which you accepted.

Hey I just want let tet know that obviously from your review reply you have just proved my point as you just said u need some work done and further more you say you carrying work out for your customer so does that mean if the garage did not find another fault you would've sold me car and you offered the car to me and told me am covered by warrant oh by oh god I am sooo happy I did not buy that car and feel sorry for the people who bought from here.

This is the dealer that sold LEE the car. I am surprised to see this review especially as the car was advertised as being so cheap because it had problems. Everyone who looked at the advert knew the car had issues before coming to view. It was advertised and sold for £3500 less than the recommended retail price for the age and mileage. I also made you aware of this before you bought the car in June 2015 and furthermore you signed to say you were aware that the car had problems. I am aware you were hoping to have the car repaired for a fraction of what you now claim to have spent but I do think its a cheap shot to subsequently have a go at my business because you have not managed to do so. Nearly all our cars are supplied with warranties and we are an RAC approved dealer as customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to me. However the very odd car is sold outwith this we advertise and sell we do so honestly so the customer has all the information to ensure they make the right choice for them. It is never nice to hear about customers having issues but when the car was advertised with issues surely it cannot be right to then complain about those issues? If you felt I had done something I should not have then you should talk to me rather than posting something on the internet as that really is not fair.

Bought the car in August and now after spending all that money on repairs it now needs another 1500 spent on it never mind the amount it has cost me on getting it recovered from the road side

Hi Catherine, I am sorry about the web site not saying no warranty and not checked by our workshops but we do literally sell only but a few this way which tends to be the older a bargain basement cars. Whilst it does not mention spefically on the web site each individual advert does mention it and this one was no different. I also dealt with you myself so I am aware that I told you prior to you buying the car. I am gald you are still happy enough to give me 4/5 which is nice but 5/5 is what we strive for. “ Hi David, Firstly let me tell you how disappointed I am for you. It is always a risk buying a used car but when you buy one that is 13 years old with 159k miles the risk is greater but it is never nice to know some has had an unpleasant experience. I took this car in part exchange, cleaned it and advertised this car at £1000 sold as seen with known or possible faults. It is perhaps worth mentioning the retail price of this was £2250. A couple days later you came in and offered £900 which I accepted as I always want the part exchanges to move on quickly. I am glad that you have at least mentioned that you knew the car had issues because these reviews can have a negative impact on smaller businesses such as mine. Therefore I take them seriously and ask for the right to reply. I used to send these types of cars to auction but for the last three years have disposed of them in this manner instead. When I read your review my wife and I had a long chat. I thought long and hard about whether to continue offering cars to buyers at trade prices knowing there may be some issues that need rectified. However as my wife pointed out I dispose of approx 10-15 cars a month this way and have done so for three years and therefore in the vast majority of cases customers were getting great value. Therefore I will continue to do so. No one could have known the extent of the problems you have incurred possibly apart from the last owner perhaps is why he decided to upgrade. I would like to think that I look after all my customers and it is never nice to find out a car I sold, despite the type of sale has caused someone a problem. Whilst I cannot change what has happened perhaps I can assist you with a deal on another car and help out with the cost.
