Traveled a long way to collect a car from Tenby Trade Sales that was advertised as a brilliant clean example, when I got there it had miner marks on which I’ve had to have sorted myself, the engine had a knock within days which I’ve been told is a dual mass rattle, but they won’t touch it because “the part hasn’t yet failed” in other words, I must wait for it to break down before they’ll even look at helping me. Stay clear.

I don’t know where to begin. Bought an Audi A5 off Tenby Trade Cars in April, returned it a week later as there were multiple problems with it. I was fortunate enough to swap it for another car. The one I swapped for had a gearbox issue and other minor problems. The dealer would not accept responsibility for it saying the car was checked before selling. I had asked for the pre-delivery inspection letter which they declined to give me. One salesman had said that the car was checked by AA whilst the other staff member said it was inspected by a private garage. I had to get a diagnostic done to prove the fault to them, wasting time and money on this. And still the manager I believe said “that proves that the car still works the fact you’ve driven it to a garage to get a diagnostic done”. I felt disgusted by this. At least they gave me paperwork for a tyre inspection that they did back in 2016. Which they said was “recent”. And because of that, my front left tyre burst while driving away from the dealership. I then found out the tyre was flipped around to say ‘inside’ instead of ‘outside’, therefore hiding all previous damages to the tyre. And for them to say that the car was checked before selling just makes me sick to think these people can do this. Needless to say I’m in an ongoing legal battle with these lot.

Bought a mercedes C class off tenby trade cars 4 weeks ago, while I love the car, I didnt notice until I was driving it home that there was a crack in the windscreen which wasnt pointed out to me. Their customer service is awful. They were lovely and communicating with me regularly when I was looking for a car, as soon as I buy one they dont want to talk to me. They promised they would send the documents on to me. They said they didnt have them in the office at the time of purchase as I bought the car and drove it home straight away so they had no time to get them. I still have no log book or documentation of any sort. When I called to question it the man on the phone was very rude and said they hadnt sent them because a mistake was made on my finance application (their error)!, but I had actually rectified. Wish I had read the reviews before buying from them. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!!!!

1. Car advertised as 99,000 miles and had 105,000 on the clock. 2. Salesman lied about everything from the get go. Not enough room to tell the whole story. 3. Advert states the car has a full service history, however, the oil was so black and books showed that it hadn’t been serviced for over 20,000 miles. The two front tyres are completely bald, one completely flat. How did it pass MOT? 4. Salesman was very condescending when I was asking questions about the car. 5. Not honest at all and a terrible experience.

I recommend Tenby Trade Cars, nice staff.

i bought a Volvo V50 from them , 6 months ago. i had gone and viewed all other car dealers and traders. i saw around 15 car traders, but tenby was honest and the quality of the used motor was also very good. i had read the reviews on this website, looks like those guys don't know much about cars or expected a Brand new car for price of used one. check out any main dealer they will make more excuse than a high street bank on their savings rate. GOOD traders with quality used car. !!! Check it out for yourself

Beware: This outlet will offer you a test drive in a vehicle that they, Tenby Trade Cars, have no Road Tax or Motor Insurance on. If stopped by the Police you, as the driver, risk at least 6 points on YOUR licence. Make sure any car you test drive from Tenby Trade Cars has Trade Plates correctly fixed and displayed both front and rear on the vehicle and it is insured for your test drive.

Bought a car beginning on Dec, it’s now mid Jan and still not received log book, they kept fobbing me off saying it’s because of the Christmas back log, rang DVLA, they have no record of my details and have said they have no backlog and never did. Car was given to me with one key after I paid the money and was told he would chase up the extra key, also car advertised as full service and only 2 stamps in book, he also said he would chase up hire company as that is where they bought it from, it’s taken me 6 Attempts to get hold of adviser to be told he never said that. He fed me a line that he probably says to all his customers to cover himself legally. Generic speeches to all customers. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! Their after sale is bad and they pretend they have an admin team but really they are in a mobile home that holds 3 members of staff. Lies!!! And more lies!!!

FIRST OF ALL I WOULD SAY I WOULD LIKE TO REPEAT....NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE !!!! TENBY CAR TRADER IS A VERY DISGUISING COMPANY, THEY PORTRAY THEMSELVES AS A GOOD CAR TRADING COMPANY & THEY SAY THERE CARS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION & NOTHING WRONG ETC BUT REALLY AND TRULY THERE CARS ALL HAVE SOME SORT OF PROBLEMS WITH IT. BOUGHT A CAR OF THEM ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO & WITHIN A MONTH THE CAR BREAKS DOWN & HAS A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH IT WHICH THEY FAIL TO MENTION. THEY WILL NOT FIX YOUR CAR & THEY WILL JUST MAKE EXCUSES. THEY WILL SAY THE CAR COMES WITH WARRANTY BUT YOU WILL GET 1 MONTH FREE WARRANTY THEN WITHIN THE NEXT MONTH AFTER YOUR CAR WILL BREAK DOWN !!! I WILL NOT SAY NO MORE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!
