Bought a VW Golf for my daughter Nov 2020 from Mike at Small Car Company, which from previous experiences of buying cars at other dealers was an absolute pleasure. Not only the buying process but the after sales was unreal. We found that the car had a small coolant leak after driving for 2 days, made one phone call and was advised to drop car off when suitable for me for them to look at. Picked the car up with this issue repaired and was advised that they had replaced the Cam belt as well as it was not 100% this was all at no cost to myself.

I agreed a deal with Andy at the Small Car Company over the phone having only seen photos of it on the internet. I had been looking for a particular car for some time and their price was, without a doubt, the best I could find nationally. The car was every bit as good as it had been described. I was not disappointed! I have had the car a few weeks now and it has performed faultlessly Mike picked me up at the railway station when I went to collect the car making the process very easy. Both Andy and Mike were very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I could not be more happy with the car and the service I received. A great company to deal with - Highly recommended.

Ive just returned home driving my Toyota Yaris (now called Mazie - end of her number plate MZT) from The Small Car Company Southampton back to Devon. Before meeting the team, their service was explanatory. I needed data to corroborate the authenticity and history of the vehicle and they sent me photos. The car was MOTd and Serviced, with particular attention to the advisories that appeared on the previous MOT. Unlike other Car Sales places, there is no hard sell and pressure. Its a friendly team, with Mike and Rob in particular making the experience less pressured and more enjoyable. I felt I could ask them anything about the vehicle, which at other branches (as a woman) I would have felt embarrassed to do. They could identify my motoring needs, ie: no sales patter about colour and trim of the vehicle, more safety, maintenance and parts. Given that I faced a long drive back with no internet connection, Mike offered the opportunity to tax the vehicle via their internet site, Making Mazie good to go.. She drove like a dream back to the Southwest, light PAS handling, Stop-start technology, and feeling of a chunky wellbuilt cabin, with the reassurance of Toyota reliability and safety. Thank you SMC, hope you open a branch in Devon soon. I like your approach. No pressure.

The Small Car Company is a great place to buy cars from. I recently bought a little black Peugeot 206cc from them, and the Sales Service was amazing. Very professional, prompt , lovely people. The after sales service was excellent when my convertible roof had a little problem, and was promptly fixed. would happily recommend this lovely place to buy a car from.

Really terrible customer service, owner of business doesn't know how to conduct himself in front of customers, and lost out on an easy sell because of his over-entitled attitude. Needs to remember that he isn't doing customers a favour by simply selling a car - that's your chosen line of business.
