This is another review update to my last one. So today 28th February 10 am went up to Trade Centre Coventry to get my sons £15,000 back for the piece of Audi metal that never moved ( 6 miles without breaking down ) Against my advice my son is sold another Audi A5 £17,499 . I know what you’re thinking but it’s his money and Suky Vilkhou and his team assured and promised my son this car wasn’t like the last one and had been checked twice by Trade Centre 99 points check ( that’s 198 checks now ) and it’s perfect. Gotta be good right I mean Suky the General Manager has just given his personal word it’s a great car . So imagine my surprise when I get a call from Simon at 6 pm ( 8 hours later ) saying he hasn’t left the Trade Centre as non of the heating works !!! Can’t demist the windows ,front or back screen, side glass . Nothing !!! It’s all foggy can’t see to drive it off the car park . So drive up there tonight greeted by Suky who knows nothing about this , he’s sitting out the front laughing and joking with his managers at what a great day they’ve all had. My sons out the back in customer care waiting while they fit an old heater motor taken off another sales Audi ( 2014 model ) to fit on my sons £17499 (2016 model ) .I swear this is true ! No they don’t fit new parts they just take them from other cars on sale ! When my wife challenged this the reply came back “ yeah we do it all the time , what’s the problem it’s a second hand car “ Can you actually believe this stuff ?? Come on Andrew Wildy ops director please tell me this isn’t true and common practice in your UK sites Do you actually fit new parts or just swap them around from the available cars in stock ? Can you really trust these guys ? This is all 100% TRUE Second time in less than a month . Two cars one £15,000 and the other £17,499 neither made it away from there without breaking down in some way. Ever seen Swiss Tony on tv ? Same stuff but in real life. Needless to say money back tomorrow and off to Trading Standards and local solicitor. Oh yeah still never got the £100 compensation as promised by Suky for all the inconvenience caused . Each car gets a 99 point check ? You must be having a laugh. £32,499 later still no car . Off to Bristol St Motors this week end keep looking for next review

Thank you, and all the other reviewers that have spent the time to write honest and justified reviews. I have been very curious over the last few months with the abundance of radio ads for this company, with today being the most intriguing, offering a phenomenal £2k off a wide variety of cars!!! So i looked on the site today trying to find an automatic and found it odd that the site was without a 'search or filter' facility....... i then googled how to cary out this very basic action and found a suggestion for 'reviews'...... with a very low score. this is only the 5th review of many, all of which are incredibly similar in nature. For poor: after sales, customer consideration, dire state of vehicles on offer and so on. well this was enough to influence and confirm my decision not to bother wasting my money, and i hope other potential buyers take heed on these reviews. Again, for that i thank you and the other honest reviewers. and i'm sorry you all had to experience the individual inconveniences that you did.

Ben R , you have made the right decision and had a lucky escape . I too have had a disgraceful experience with them .....many things I could add . I am taking them to court and would urge any other unhappy customers of which there are many to do the same .
Don't buy from trade centre. Worst company ever. Had car in July 2021 a Peugeot 2008 from Coventry and only had 24000 on the clock with full service history and 2016 reg. Bad vibration when pulling away and bad engine vibration was told engine is fine and that's the way they are. The judder was clutch so they had it in with no curtesy car. They also was supposed to sort out some small dents and tourch up some paint work and had it back several days later and it was worst than ever. Bad vibration from gearbox when excelerating and knocking sound from drivers side also never did paint repairs and said have i got it in writing that they said they would do it of course i did not as I believed them when they said they would do it when i handed over mine and my wife savings. They had it again replaced shock absorber on passenger side and said they took it for a 100 mile test drive and it was fine. Got it back drove it up the road and the knocking was still there and also the vibration from the gearbox. Went back and took out technician who agreed that there was a problem and booked it back in and said he will sort out a curtesy car for next time. Phoned up before taking it back to be told we don't have any curtesy cars and we don't guarantee a curtesy car but will put us on waiting list. 2 months later no call back so rang them and was told they don't know anything about it and have to book it in but if I'm willing to wait several weeks they will book me in and sort out a curtesy car. Guess what phoned today and again no curtesy car available. The car had to goto peugeot before Christmas to have engine done at a cost of £2600 never buy a car from them worst experience of my life. The wife's a teacher and needs a car for work as she leaves home at 6am every morning. Worst mistake I've ever made.

Sold a car on £760 a month finance to a mentally unstable man on £96 per week sick pay
Wednesbury branch. AWFUL experience. Pounced on the minute we entered the doors. Music so loud and awful, couldn't hear the sales patter. We had to go outside to get away from the music (we love music, but it was loud and almost rave music, totally inappropriate). 5 assistants waiting by doors, we said we just want to look first and one assistant told us we can also buy too, that it's easy to buy, come and buy - then the 5 of them were laughing together as we walked away. Started looking at cars, they are not sorted in any order. The doors were locked, so we couldn't see inside the cars. Had to leave as it was so stressful, an assistant was trying to "get to us" as we weaved in and out to get away. Just tried their website to search on there, impossible. No car search facility online, I know exactly what I want but I can't search for one particular make and model. Totally pants. Avoid!

Anyone looking to buy their next dream car please avoid The Trade Centre Uk Coventry. Worst car dealership, I purchased the car which I was told cannot be test driven due to the Covid. I was told that I will have 28 days from the day of purchase to return the car in case of any fault or issue. Two days later I took the car back with engine warning light on, and the guy in the customer service just drove the car away and in less than a min came back suggesting there’s no issue and they just reset the light. Few days later started noticing the car shaking on the motorway every-time driving over 50 mph. Tried contacting their customer service for days with no success and eventually sent emails of grievance, to which they booked my car in. I spoke to the guy on the day of handing my car in who advised they might have missed some inspections during the initial pre sale checks. So I explained that I won’t be taking this car based on all the findings. It’s been nearly 67 days I am left with no car and finance company is deducting money from my account. I am waiting for Financial Ombudsman Service to step in and help get all my money back. Please avoid using Trade Centre robbing people out of their hard earned money. Throughout my experience I have come across countless people being conned by the Trade Centre. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

It wasn’t a D Class Merc was it that sounds just like what’s happening to me
The cars advertised on their website are not updated frequently enough leaving you to have to look at their other stock. This is when they can begin to time pressure you into buying. Do not believe them when they say they are doing you a deal either. They are not "probably the cheapest cars" they are just not cheap. They have streamline theeir sales process and I do believe you could get a car in a hour as they advertise. However, good luck if you need any form of after sales care! Some of the worst and most disorganised service I have ever delt with. Taxis back and forth due to their incompetence only to have them deny any fault with the car leaving me to have to go to other garages to get an official opinion to even open discussion about repair or refund. They will do anything to keep your money. They rely on people not having the time, money or will to fight them for a refund despite being well within rights for one.

Despite what the Trade Centre tell you about them not allowing you to return your car if it develops a fault the law is very clear. If you buy a car from a dealership and it develops a fault within 30 days you can return it and get a full refund. And if it develops a fault between 30 days and 6 months then the dealership has one chance to fix the issue and if it doesn't then you are entitled to a refund. When they tell you that you can't they are lying and breaking the law which for selling a faulty car in the first place is an unlimited fine and up to 12 months imprisonment

Drive away in 1 hour! What a joke 7.5 hrs later and I would have signed anything just to leave. Left at 7.45pm and telephoned at 9am the next day asking to exchange the vehicle for a more suitable one and was told absolutely not. They still haven’t settled my old finance and I’ve now had to pay the direct debit for a car I no longer own.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. I wouldnt recommend anyone buys a car from here at all. I've had the worst experience, brought my car in May and still having trouble now. The day I brought my car it had to go back due to an engine fault, then there was oil in the boot that ruined my brand new push chair, then all these engine warning lights were coming on. Finally got all of that sorted only to get fines from the car that I part exchanges which was a massive mess up because I couldn't find the v05 for the old car, they told me on 3 occasions that they would sort it and here I am having to sort it out myself 6 months down the line.

Given false information by sales rep during viewing relating to a “full service history”. Drove away 8:45PM, by 8am the next day service light was on requiring over £1000 worth of service work to be carried out. Company claim the onus is on me to check service history even though I was misinformed. Totally misled into a sale. Vehicle not as described/advertised. Turns out the vehicle which I paid 17k for has 2 of 7 service stamps and hasn’t been serviced for 5 years. Really poor customer service who contradict themselves and hold onto a signed document stating the service BOOK was not present, no mention of no service history. Only recommendation I would make is to stay clear of this company
