I purchased a car from here had 2 days and took it back as they was loads of faults worst experience I have ever encountered buying a car would never return to buy another car from Whitley bay motors.

Delighted with service provided by Paul at Whitley Bay Motors. Very trustworthy and comfortable and approachable manner. The whole process from viewing, test driving and purchasing without fault. Felt really looked after and delighted with my new car. Thank you so much Paul for all your help. A refreshingly positive experience of car sales would whole heartedly recommend him.

i purchased a car off Whitley Bay Motors on the 27/07/18, (invoice number 7050), and it was by far the worst experience of my life to date. Ill start from the beginning when i went to look at the car in question paul (the salesman) gave me all the paperwork to look at. I noticed on its last MOT (test no 541660795838), that it had an advisory oil leak, prior to me noticing this paul had already told me that all cars come with a brand new MOT. So i asked the question will advisorys on MOT get fixed aswell to which his response was a definate YES. So i paid for the car and when it passed its MOT went to pick it up. As i was driveing home it started raining so i put the windscreen wipers on and noticed straight away the wipers were scratching the window, so i had to go and get new ones. I had a drive around and when i got home thought id have a look under the car to see if the advisory oil leak had been done. To my astonishment i could actually see the oil dripping out the top half of the engine. Bearing in mind the so called MOT they said it passed had no mention of oil leak. I thought hold on a minute i know absolutly nothing about cars and can spot this oil leak a mile off and there mechanics who put it through MOT failed to spot this. I rang paul and he told me to bring it in. I brought it in a mechanic had a look and within 10 minutes confirmed an oil. I told paul how was this not picked up on there MOT (no 676186826545), paul and the mechanic then proceeded in trying there best to pull the wool over my eyes. By this time all trust had gone and I asked for a full refund, ill give paul credit he did give me a full refund straight away, thats why ive gave them 1 star. There are a good few reviews very similar to mine if you take the time too go through them (only wish i had), THE MOTs ARE NOT WORTH THE PAPER THERE WRITTEN ON, my next steps are informing DVSA. So my overall opinian of this company is they probably do sell some good honest cars, but at the same time they will throw some absolute dudds in aswell. so avoid all the way people

Have never had as good a service provided when buying a car before now. Paul at Whitley Bay Motors was brilliant. No pressure sale, acknowledged that there was a few things needed doing to the car first and had these taken care of before selling. Service on a personal level. Would highly recommend.

Well, not sure I’ll have enough characters to say what I want. First class service from start to finish. Adam wasn’t pushy at all. He was professional, and polite, young man. He has been in the motor trade all his life which obviously is the reason for his vast knowledge. I usually find buying a new car quite stressful, but thanks to Adam, this wasn’t the case, therefore I am now loving every minute driving my new beauty.

I have just bought a ford focus mk3 63 from Paul at Whitley Bay Motors. Brilliant experience no fuss or hassle at all. I would not hesitate to buy a car from Paul in the future

Recently bought a car from Whitley Bay Motors had it barely a month and just had problem after problem with it. The garage wouldn't pay for repairs to the car even though it was well within the 3 month warranty period they offered. Dealt with Peter he seemed ok to begin with but as the problems mounted he started to get more and more aggressive and less helpful, ended up returning the car and currently looking to buy one from somewhere else.

Seen a car for sale that I liked in there.. had a look at it, few little bits that needed looking at, “don’t worry wel get all that sorted out”.. ok champion.. I’ll bring the car round for a test drive.. drove fine.. again couple of niggles “that will be sorted”... so paid deposit.. car will be ready to collect next day or two.. 4 days later.. collect car.. No fuel in it, bits n bobs that were supposed to get done hadn’t been done because they couldn’t justify the labour?! So met half way to get them addressed. Once money was sorted couldn’t wait to get you out the show room, never to hear from them again .. oh and as for their MOT’s the cars are provided with aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.. as I took the car for a pre test at a friends garage and there was a couple of bulbs out, and a few loose bolts!!!!!!! From work they had done, since owning the car I’ve had to replace several parts, but honestly not even worth the hassle dealing with these people. I’ve taken it on the chin and a lesson learnt!! wouldn’t recommend to anyone!!! And I certainly will be staying well clear in future.
