I first spotted the car I liked on AutoTrader and then visited the Auto Cars website directly. The car stood out to me — it was well-priced with good mileage, so I got in touch via email. I was purchasing through my employer’s car loan assistant scheme (a local council programme), so I had to check if this would be possible. I spoke to Gary, who was really helpful and informative. He confirmed that I could go ahead with the scheme, and once I had sign-off from my employer, he arranged for the car to be taken to the Beverley Depot for a full check. Gary kept me updated throughout the process. When the report from the depot came back with a few issues, Gary reassured me it wasn’t a problem — Auto Cars were happy to complete all necessary work before I bought the vehicle. True to his word, Gary got everything sorted and let me know when the work was complete and the car was ready. When I collected the car, all the paperwork was sorted and the process was quick and smooth. Gary even gave me a bottle of prosecco, which was a lovely touch! A couple of weeks later, a light came up on the dashboard (ESC traction). I emailed Gary straight away, and he responded immediately. He told me that even if it wasn’t covered by the warranty, their garage would take care of it free of charge — no stress at all. Overall, I’m really happy with my experience at Auto Cars. They come across as a friendly, helpful local company that genuinely care about their customers. I’d definitely use them again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Honestly, it's been so refreshing using a dealership that prioritises honesty, customer service and just simply doing what they say they will. I have had some very unpleasant dealings with unscrupulous dealerships that has left me dreading having to purchase a new car, but Autocars has truly shifted my perspective. Everything from the reservation online to driving away was perfect. Staff were exceptionally professional, timely and kind. The car was in beautiful condition, and some very minor repairs that needed doing have been honoured post sale with no issue at all. The whole process was pleasant and straightforward - I've dealt with quite a few dealerships in Hull and Autocars is the best experience start to finish by a mile. I'll never go anywhere else. I'll definitely come to you guys first in the future and recommend to absolutely everyone. Thanks guys, big thanks to Chris in particular.

This was my first time purchasing from Autocars. I went for a Kia Picanto, and I have been really pleased with it so far. I use it here and there, and I've got to say, it's such a great car. Chris and Gray both helped me with the sale, and I found them both to be so friendly and helpful. I didn’t feel like I was being pushed into a sale at all.
