Would you buy a car from here? I personally wouldn’t The staff are all robotic with hardly any knowledge of cars. They are told to learn scrip’s which makes them all give the same replies to questions you ask. The staff have individual targets, if not met have a review and the company comes down hard on them. They really don’t give a crap about customers there just numbers and want to flog dodgy cars to meet there targets. The reason I say dodgy is upon closely looking at cars I can see most of the cars have had previous unrecorded damage as i'very seen cars with a complete respray on one side done badly, car panels not aligned properly, incorrect tyres on cars or tyres with just about meeting the legal requirement, beak pads so thin that will require changing in under 100 miles, guaranteed to see many imperfections upon looking at the car closely, they wont tell you anything bad about the car and don’t even offer a test drive but offer a demo drive which is like a few minutes drive so can’t even drive in all gears as it’s a small side streets only. They also want to sell you guard x and all the other crap to make more commission as the staff get more commission selling all these other extras and less on the cars. Guard x is a total waste of money it doesn’t do what it says on the tin. This is how they will speak to you....."So what do you think of the car Dave? Do you like it Dave? Where are you from Dave? Where do you live Dave? Yeah it's nice isn't it Dave? Are you going to put a deposit down Dave?" They will sell you a ticking time bomb with no qualms about reneging on their point of sale overtures. Example: Vehicle 5% oil level light would illuminate after 2 weeks, took vehicle to Vauxhall who found a failed drive shaft seal, and melted glove box lamp cover for one customer. If after you buy the car and got RAC to inspect it your guaranteed to have faults. Once you have bought the car that’s it if you come back and complain they won’t want to know

Bought a 2021 Peugeot. within 12 weeks car asking me for oil. i thought was normal so left it, waited 2 months for there to be a oil leak, a coolant leak, and all the pipes connected to the turbo to burst and had to get the whole turbo repaired. costs £2000 now. As its been after 6 months (9 months) they aren't helping and currently working out how im going to take them to court. I'm paying an independent company to do a service check to prove there was issues at POS. the finance company then can bring this to car giant.
Very disappointing experience with Cargiant. All I requested was to meet the responsible manager at the company, but that didn’t happen. I contacted Audi, and they confirmed the car is with them and should be ready next week or the week after. I informed Cargiant that I am traveling with my family to Europe using this car and requested a replacement vehicle of the same value or equivalent. Instead, they provided me with a car worth only £2,000, which is completely unacceptable. The purchase was based on assurances from their legal representative that the car was in Audi for repairs and that everything was clear in their records. However, they disregarded this. I requested a return of the car and a full refund, but this was refused. It is unreasonable to purchase a car, and within two months, it has been out of service for over a month without resolution.

The dent was not there when we viewed the car - the cars are all piled together very close when we picked it up and when we got home saw what looked like someone had opened a car door on it. Called immediately they were not interested, alleged it was ‘on the paperwork’ that we were not shown or told about and factored in the cost lol. Rubbish - customer service probably says that to everyone - check your car with a tooth comb!!!!! Or don’t go there. We will never use them again - poor service and aftercare on the actual day of purchase for a car that cost nearly £20000

Purchased a BMW which had faulty gearbox within 6 months. Car at their warranty garage for over 2 months without any updates. Vehicle received last week and very next day, the gearbox broke down again. Complain sent by email but no response. Very disappointed with their unprofessional customer service and careless service

Review of Cargiant - Officially The Worlds Largest Car Dealership | cargiant.co.uk Sophie 8 reviews GB 21 Jul 2024 Worse company ever Worse company ever. Bought my 2nd car from this company on the 25th June, failed to tell me it was an ex rental car until on the day I collected the car which I let ride over my head. The gear box is on its way out and clunking in 3rd and 4th gear, been told to go halfords has they have an account with them and quoted car giant 3grand for the clutch gearbox and fly wheel to then be called by car giant and told they will not be paying that price and to bring it down to them. I have paper trial of all the email conversations I've had with them to state they would cover all the cost yet now retratcting what they have said and expect a single mum with 6 kids to travel 2.5 hours to give the car to them to sort which I'm not too sure I'm wanting to do has they could easily put across they have changed it but not sort of thing. A risk I'm not willing to take. I have an holiday on the 5th August and they do not care if I miss it... I've since contacted my finance company and made a massive complaint. CON ARTIST! IVE BEEN CALM FOR TOO LONG. Since been in the work shop since Thursday 25th July and still to this day the car hasn't even been looked at. I don't see if they have only got 1 mechanic and several cars being looked at I'm not sure why they didn't just let my garage put the new gear box in. Ofcourse they wouldn't pay there EXCESSIVE labour fees that were being quoted. DONT SEE ME GETTING THIS CAR BK FULLY REPAIRED EITHER!!! They will pressure u to leave a review the minute you leave there site. I state I have 6 kids 3 that are registered disabled I've also got a heart condition and struggle walking without getting out of breath. They just don't care... my finance company are now on to them!!!

AVOID - after sales service is rubbish Bough a car on 08/06 Saturday, straight after left car giant the car already showing problems. The car making some weird noises, pulling to the right, start/stop function not working, vibrates over 40 mph and over heat. Phone them on Monday 10/06 they said to take the car to kiwik fit which I did, but they were unable to fix, so phone car giant after sales back and they book me in for 25/06 more than 2 weeks later to confirm the car fault. They said will be confirm next day 26/06, so I came to car giant on 26/06 and after 3 hours waiting they said that the car fault will be check next day….they have the car for more thank 24 hours and didn’t touch the car yet. So I lost 2 days of work plus travel 2 days from Gatwick for nothing, wast of time…..so I suggest looking somewhere else. The time I was waiting at car giant, saw so many peoples complaining about the car they have bought from car giant. Best option avoid car giant and look somewhere else.

The biggest issue is they know people will buy a car where they make money is on add-ons extended warranty paint protection part exchange and mostly on finance as the rate they give is ridiculous, if you choose to get finance from outside lenders they add extra charge not too sure if this is very ethical the warranty they sell not worth the he paper it’s written on as a consumer you have 6 months statutory rights IE if a car you buy from Cargiant has a issue within the first 6 month it’s on them to prove you cussed the issue also if you have finance and Cargiant doesn’t want to play ball talk to your finance company as they own the car complain let the aftersale team know you will leave a negative feedback on trust pilot as they pressure customer into leaving a good review soon as you buy the car from them very sneaky! Never ever buy any add-ons don’t show up with cash as they charge a handling fee they push the salesman to sell add-ons even when they know it’s not worth a penny! Hope this helps anyone reading it.

Paid £16,000 for a MG5 EV Car developed faults CarGiant would not help put this vehicle right, out of pocket by thousands of pounds. Please be aware if your buying from them and get vehicle checked. I have never dealt with such rude people who basically told me too go away. CarGiant a rubbish!!!

I would suggest avoid the seller as I have faced below issues, 1. Service was 65 days overdue which I only found out after full payment and paperwork done. After sales says, it was not on us, you have not asked the question about it 2. Type 2 to Type 2 cable was not provided and asked £100 for the same 3. All car mats were missing 4. Car’s tailgate lid handle was missing which almost cut my hand while closing the boot 5. Description/features of vehicle on website were misleading and they covered that up with a disclaimer there 6. Test drive was very short and and was on 20 mph speed, could you believe it 7. Salesman had very little idea about the car and was more of selling cargiant’s product Sales and after sales person keep on repeating one thing there “we can’t attend a single car as we sell thousands of cars” but I believe customer is there to buy only one car and expect them to be focus on their deal especially when they are selling it for such a high price.
