I am pleased with every aspect of the car and service given by this dealer however, I believe that there was room for negotiation on the price of the car. The dealer had this car slightly overpriced but overall very happy with it. Would have given 5 star but only giving 4 stars.
I saw a car placed on Autotrader and made the journey from Glasgow to come and see it. It was well worth the journey. The car was spot on and accurately described. Very happy with purchase.
Bought a car from Carpoint of Peterborough in January 2019.Had issues from the start, there was no spare key, they said they said as a "Goodwill Gesture" they would provide one, All they provided was a blank key. 1st problem was a nearly bald tyre, After two weeks, we kept losing power, then Engine Management light came on, Then Engine Failure was illuminated. We had been back to Carpoint, a couple of times, with no joy, so we took car to a garage local to us, diagnosis was frightening. The DPF filter pipe had been welded together, (badly), it should have been fitted with screws and bolts, the exhaust pipe was not connected in two different places, and another part had a mix match of different screws and nuts. To put right was going to cost over £2000,when l rang Carpoint, he actually screamed at me down the phone, he wouldn't let me speak, when l shouted at him he put phone down on me. I kept ringing with no answer, so l tried a different phone, to get an answer machine, told them l wanted money back, No reply, and on reading reviews, (wish we had read them 1st)knew we weren't going to get anywhere with legal proceedings, so we claimed from credit card. While bank attempted charge back, they had audacity to tell bank we had taken a 3rd party vehicle engineer with us, who had fully inspected vehicle, and he found it satisfactory for our needs, LIES,!!!. We have finally got our money back, we have also scrapped car as it was going to cost too much to put right, lm not sure how it got a year's MOT, as EML had been reported since 2017. So please folks if your looking for a car, AVOID Carpoint of Peterborough, they say a lot of things as a Good Will Gesture, but it's only words. Please read reviews, though ignore the 5 star reviews, as lm sure they've written them thereselves.

I want to say a huge thank you to Carpoint for providing me with my 1st car. I was a little nervous in purchasing my 1st car but the salesman put me at ease and the whole car buying experience was fantastic.
Bought a car from Carpoint of Peterborough two weeks ago, it got delivered and the very next day the AA had to rescue me as car was overheating. I have called them over 50 times and no one has answered the phone, I have emailed them but no acknowledgement. The car failed its MOT the day before delivery but passed it the very next day. On further inspection, the coil which was the reason why it failed was not repaired as the noise from it continues to rattle. Hopefully finance will be cancelled as promised my the finance company. Apparently there was a power failure in Peterborough since 12/06/19 which has not been fixed hence they have not been able to take any calls. That was the advice I got from them on 12/06/19 when was arranging for delivery
We purchased a car which broke down the second day and has not moved since as its not mechanically sound. Despite informing them the next day asking for a refund and to return the car we have had to endure months of trying mediation, letters, emails and phone calls they refuse to discuss the matter. Court is now the only option, I cant believe how this company has kept going but looking at other reviews I'm one of many who have to go to court to get this sorted, Please go to another company, Carpoint of Peterborough can not be trusted.

Really happy that I bought my new Nissan Micra 1.5 dci from here. I had the most excellent car buying experience and I would most definitely recommend other customers to buy from here too. The cars are very reasonably priced and my car came with a 3 month peace of mind warranty and a brand new mot. I am overall very satisfied with buying my car from Carpoint.
I recently bought a Renault Megane and had a slight issue with the drivers electric window. The salesman told me to bring it back and was fixed free of charge. I am really happy with the after care service given by Carpoint. The car drives really well and I am happy with the fuel economy. The car was only £30 to Tax which is great. Thanks Carpoint.
